With the EPL title race done and dusted we can now focus on the competition for champions league spots, which is heating up. Four teams are clambering for two spots, so it will be interesting to see who gets them. Arsenal are fortunately favored to take third right now, but with six games remaining and 18 points to play for, anything can still happen.

And of course, all over Europe the title races are incredibly interesting.
Barcelona have shaved a 10 point lead down to just 4, with a La Liga El Clasico at the Nou Camp still to come. It would be a historic collapse for Los Blancos, whom everyone had all but crowned as Champions back in February.
In Italy, Juventus are just a few games away from pulling an Arsenal and going unbeaten through an entire league season. It had appeared that they might be Invincible, yet not claim the title but AC Milan's form has allowed the Bianconeri to take back the top spot. As an Arsenal fan, I want them to lose one, but I really want them to win the Scudetto. No matter what it's gonna be interesting though.
And TOMORROW in a match I will be keen to watch, Borussia Dortmund put their top spot on the line against Bayern Munich in what promises to be an absolute WAR. If Dortmund win tomorrow, they should seal an incredible second straight Bundesliga title. Bayern can go level on points with them if they claim victory tomorrow though. I can't wait to see what happens in that one.

Also it's a joke that the Derry red card hasn't been overturned. The FA are just f***ing all over the place this week. I can't believe the double standards they're setting and the blatant encouragement of cheating that is going on.

I'm actually more interested in the Premier League relegation battle than anything else (other than Barcelona chasing Real Madrid and the Champions League, duh). I'd love to see the money men at QPR dumped into the Championship along with the chicken-men at Blackburn. On the other hand, seeing Steve Kean keep them up would be quite funny after all the vitriol his fans have poured on him. I've always liked Owen Coyle and want to see him keep Bolton up, as does pretty much anyone without a vested interest after what happened to Muamba. Wigan amaze me. They try to play quality football with a bunch of average ex-SPL (Caldwell, McArthur, McCarthy, Sammon, Maloney) and actually succeed! Pity they have no one who can put the ball in the net. Love to see Martinez pull another miracle with them.
Villa look to be safe. Next season, they're going to be right in it.

Arsenal - 61 Points (A) - Wolves (H) - Wigan (H) - Chelsea (A) - Stoke (H) - Norwich (A) - West Brom
Arsenal have a fairly easy run in to the end of the season, and also have a game in hand on the other 3 teams. The only games i can potentially see them losing are Stoke away, as its notoriously a tough place to go to, and perhaps they might drop points at Chelsea at home. Wolves are shocking and although they are "fighting" for relegation, they wont be enough for Arsene's men. Wigan and Norwich SHOULD be easy wins and West Brom away should also be 3 points.
Projected points from final games: 13
Final Points: 74
Projected Position: 3rd
Tottenham - 59 Points (A) - QPR (H) - Blackburn (A) - Bolton (A) - Aston Villa (H) - Fulham
Now looking at that set of fixtures, Tottenham EASILY have the most simplest run in of all the 4 teams, but they also have the worst form, with only 1 win in the last 7 (I think, or something horrendous like that). 4/5 of the last games though are against teams in the bottom 6 of the division, so you'd think statistically this would bode well for them. Alas though, QPR, Blackburn and Bolton will all be fighting to steer clear of relegation, and going away to especially QPR and Bolton will prove tough tasks, and i see them only picking up draws there. They should beat Blackburn and Fulham I would've thought, and probably Villa because they are awful, and probably safe from relegation by that point. Harry really needs to turn them around though and get them back to proper winning ways, or they are in trouble.

Newcastle - 59 Points (H) - Stoke (A) - Wigan (A) - Chelsea (H) - Man City (A) - Everton
We unfortunately have a sucky run in, BUT we have won our last 5 games on the trot, and i dont see that changing in the next two games, as i fully believe on our current form, we can beat Stoke at home and Wigan away with ease... I hope. Chelsea away is going to be a killer, but once again with current form i reckon we can pick up a draw there. Man City have nothing really left to play for, and we do, therefore i reckon we could sneak a win there. Everton away might be crucial on whether we get a Champs League or Europa League spot, but they are on flying form at the moment. BUT if they get to the FA Cup final, they will undoubtedly rest players, allowing us to hopefully stomp all over them... if they dont though they're full strong team may be too much. I'm gonna say they beat Liverpool though, and therefore we beat their weaker team on the last game of the season in a totally unbias manner. And to be honest with Cisse and Ben Arfa in sparkling form, who says we cant win 4 of the last 5 games?!
Projected points from final games: 13
Final Points: 72
Projected Position: 4th
Chelsea - 57 Points (A) - Arsenal (H) - QPR (H) - Newcastle (A) - Liverpool (H) - Blackburn
Chelsea arguably have the worst run in, and also still have extra games in the FA Cup, and the Champions League (Which i really hope they win, not because it may benefit Newcastle for the extra game, but because they are an english team). Arsenal away will be tough, but as i said they would draw earlier, i will stick with that, same with them drawing at home to Newcastle. QPR at home will be tough as QPR treat Chelsea as their bitter rivals and will try really goddamn hard to get one up on them, as it might be their last chance for a while, but i'll still say Chelsea win. Blackburn they should win against, and as for Liverpool... Unless they've turned their form round by that point, Chelsea should win that too.
Projected points from final games: 11
Final Points: 68
Projected Position: 6th
Now lets wait and see how accurate my predictions shall be.... >____>

The disallowed Wigan goal was a terrible decision and I say this as a United fan. Absolutely terrible. Wigan should be ahead.

Do you think cats are clever? They don't hold a candle to dogs and SuperNiceDog is the cream of the crop since he won the Guru contest without breaking a sweat.
Robben misses a penalty and then skies one over the bar from about 2 yards out, and BvB are six points clear with 4 to go. The title is theirs, I think!

I don't know whether to be happy or not, on the one hand I like Wigan and Martinez but on the other we could really do without them starting to win games again.
Why is everybody on Wigan's balls? There's nothing positive about them and their tactical naivety. Trying to play as if they are Barcelona with SPL grade players is suicide. They are wasting away the talents of Victor Moses and James McCarthy by languishing at the bottom of the table, not to mention that their team logo looks ugly as hell. Even worse, they took away Charles N'Zogbia and turned him into this shadow of a N'Zogbia we see at Aston Villa today.

^5 extha imho
also n'zogbia was a monster for wigan last year, i think it's more alex mcleish's patented 10-0-0 formation that has ruined n'zogbia's career
Also want to comment further on the ludicrousness of accusing Wigan of tactical naivety. Look at the stats from the match yesterday. Their 'tactical naivety' outplayed the reigning champions from whistle to whistle.
