Okay, I think I've refined jungle Annie as well as I can.

Flat armor reds and yellows, gold/10 quints, whatever blues
9/21/0 masteries, with points in bladed armor and HP regen.
EDIT: Skills, E/W/Q/W

Start cloth5. Wolves->blue->wraiths->wolves->red->wraiths-golems
4:50 clear time, 760 gold.

Health and mana stay up pretty well, but I know she'd be easily counterjungled by any of the good junglers, so she'll never be viable. Probably a lot faster and safer with a leash.

I need to start playing with some b8ers soon, huh? Never once stepped foot into the b8 channel. Though I can't really play right now with this patch. Every time I try to join a fight I immediately drop down to 15 fps, and in bigger teamfights, where clicking is most important, it goes down to 3 fps. Never happened before, and a lot of other people reporting the same thing. Guess I'll just take a break for now.

Fiddlebot certainly is. Non stop Drains and Crowstorm will be ready whenever you see him. Sorakabot also liked dropping silences every 3-4 seconds.

EDIT: If Annie had been in that game, I bet she would be resummoning Tibbers before the old one went down.

I have no idea. It doesn't seem to affect all bots, though, so it's probably a glitch. Amumubot was normal, but Fidbot, Tristbot, and Sorakabot had no CDs.

The highlight was when two of us tried to kill Tristbot only to have her chain four rocketjumps in a row directly away from us to escape.

Learning more about jungling. Is it basically essential to gank at Level 4? A kill or an assist plus one jungle cycle + your initial purchase gives just the right amount for Madreds and Boots1 on your first trip back.

Also I am learning that it is a BAD thing if the enemy's mid or bot towers go down too early. Carries like a long laning phase. I'm still not sure about top, though. On one hand, a tower kill means that top can start roaming, but if the roaming top isn't aggressive enough bad things can happen later. On the other hand, keeping the towers up provides an additional objective for each jungler to keep track of.

I would disagree. Any tower kill means more map ambiguity, and adding ambiguity to a part of the map that was previously controlled by the enemy means more map control for you. It also means bot and mid can start grouping up to kill each others lanes, invade enemy jungle, control dragon more easily, gank top, feint push one lane and kill another tower, etc. Having more global gold than you opponents early on is also a big, big benefit.

Basically, killing a tower only gives you more options. You can always just keep farming.

I think Gwindor is right at least 90% of the time with that assessment. I think there are a couple instances where the benefits of a long laning phase outweigh the team gold and innate map advantage of taking out a tower. Someone like nasus for example would rather have laning phase last 25 minutes than kill a tower in 14 just because hes destroying his opponent.

I think when a tower goes down depends entirely on the situation. If you have a Nasus getting farmed at top, it's best to prolong the laning phase. If one lane is losing by a lot I'd say the right idea is usually to take the tower and go help them.

Anyone get Varus yet? I've heard mixed reports.

Varus is interesting, in the bot games I've used him in (Periodic lag spikes + AD Caster w/ skillshot = Bad Idea in normal games.).

Picked him up because I just barely had the IP and needed a ranged AD that isn't Ashe, and well, you can tell that the guy who designed Ziggs made Varus as well, that's as I'll say. Fun as hell, squishy as hell.

You probably won't see Varus much in competitive play. When you're using his Q, you're reducing his all-round dps by not auto-attacking. If you just auto-attack, you aren't getting the extra Blight damage that he needs to compete with the likes of Graves and Vayne. It's a vicious circle.

Knocking down bot tower can lead to the opponent freezing the lane well passed the point oif safety, which can really hurt your ad in the long run
