Oooooook wow. I am going to skip this Circle of Four thing entirely. I cannot handle such terrible X-23 writing. You've let me down for the first time, Remender!

You realize only 14(and maybe 14.4. Can't remember) was written by Remender right >_> I didn't know that till someone told me.
EDIT. Well GameWeasel's quote function is messed up.

Official Mienshao of the pokemon B/W and BW2 clans Comic pull list: UXF, WatX, XML, Avengers Academy, Defenders, Secret Avengers, JLI, and Batwing
From: tereziWright | #074 Got caught up on some AvX time-ins because I'm an idiot.
Forget costume and dialog f***-ups between other books, Avengers and Secret Avengers literally cannot be happening in the same universe.
How is Marvel's biggest event in decades, which they've been planning for over a year now, right down to asking Capullo to draw it over a year ago, be such an unorganized clusterf***?
It's like they ACTUALLY SAID "it doesn't matter if it's s***, it'll sell", which we joke about Marvel and DC saying some times, but this time I think they ACTUALLY DID IT. None of the writers in any of the books give two s***s about what the other writers were doing, it's way worse than when Millar didn't care what side hero's chose to be on in the tie-ins back in Civil War. This is Countdown to Final Crisis level stuff here.
appearantly the end of Avengers #26(as in everything while they are in space) is after Secret Avengers #28 so...maybe it will actually make sense when we get to Secret Avengers #28. Dunno. IT was in one of those caption boxes.

From: tereziWright | #116 Ugh Avengers Academy #23
UGHHHHHHHHHHHH
They handle this SO POORLY.
That's the one with Striker comig out right(is lazy and doesn't feel like re-reading them atm) Or is it just the one where X-23 joins(I know it is also this one but can't remember exactly when Striker came out)

From: tereziWright | #121 The Striker part. I just think it was way, WAY too "a very special episode of..." and it made it ridiculously hard to take it seriously.
In better news, Lemire's JLD starts tomorrow. A new contender for top 10 comic on the market maybe?!
So looking forward to it. Too bad I can't afford to actually get it >_>

Man these Clone Saga TPBs are kinda weirdly put-together. They cut it together in chronological order of the story, rather than release. So you get the flashback issues that tell the story of what happened to Ben Reilly between the 70s clone story and the 90s Clone Saga right at the beginning, even though they were released after Ben had taken over as Spider-Man and was believed to be the real Peter Parker, and the narration makes reference to that. Then immediately after that, you get the first appearances of Ben Reilly in the lead-in to the Clone Saga, where they won't tell you who he is or show his face because he's still a "mystery man". And the flashback issues also make it clear that Kaine is a flawed clone suffering from cellular degeneration, but then we get to the main stories and they're all like "Who is the mysterious KAINE???"
And in those lead-in issues, they even cut together only the few pages of each one that directly relate to Reilly and the Clone Saga, so you sort of get jump cuts that skip over the main plot of those issues. Like on one page Spider-Man running out of Aunt May's hospital room to chase down Mac Gargan (while mystery-man Reilly is in the background trying to sneak in to visit her), and then on the next page they have a "Some Time Later..." header and Spider-Man saying how Gargan seemed serious about trying to be a better person and he let him go.

TDK #9 was one of the worst things I've been conned into buying. "Oh hey, Judd Winnick is writing this one issue tie-in and it's gonna focus on Tim Drake, this is gonna be great, might as well pick it up." And then the book laughs in your face and until you get to the last page and Tim shows up for one panel where it then proceeds to trollface you to death.

Well that sucks...It will hopefully be good next month.

I did think it was actually a good issue. It's just extreme trolling and even more salt in the wound that is the lack of Tim Drake in the Batverse. I even thought it was solicited as starring Red Robin. Just made me really upset that I spent money on it when my budget is already tight.
Just caught up on Red Lanterns, which I've pretty much been ignoring ever since it came out. It's....not nearly as bad as I was expecting. Pretty decent, actually! Although it is "Bleez's Ass: The Ongoing Series!" but that much I did expect. Now for nine issues each of GLC and New Guardians, because it's been too long since I've read either of those at all. <_<
Batman Incorporated. was okay. Not as good as I was expecting, but I was super hyped for it (I didn't cry at all, YOU LIED TO ME MORRISON!). This is going to be something that's a lot better in trade form, but Morrison stuff usually ends up that way. also, ick, waaaay too much gratuitous blood
and yes I just got done reading nine issues of red f***ing lanterns and i am saying ONE ISSUE of batman had more gratuitous usage of blood
It was a freaking slaughterhouse. Of course there's going to be lots of blood. Personally, I loved the issue. Great start, just wondering where it's going to fit canonically. Also, Bat-cow.
JLD #9 was really good too although I have nothing to base it on since I haven't read the rest of the series, just jumping on for Lemire. I've just started reading Sandman too so I'm wondering if there's going to be any more ties to that.
Red Lanterns is slightly disappointing because for some reason, I pictured it as a sitcom after reading the first issue, with Atrocitus as the gruff working-class husband, Krona's body as his wife, and Red Lanterns as idiot coworkers/neighbours. Each issue, Atrocitus would have some zany scheme to push the corps forward which gets ruined when the Red Lanterns do Red Lanterns stuff like vomit blood and say "rage", then he goes home and talks about it with Krona before going to bed.
Picked up Green Lantern #9 at my local convenience store (where it was the only choice besides one Simpsons copy and one Archie comics thing, but not Archie). It's... not bad. I've heard a lot of bad things about Green Lantern the past few months, but this wasn't too bad.
*minor spoilers*
It kept up the rainbow lantern stories Geoff's been telling for what seems like a decade. The Guardians are most definitely evil. We learn about the Indigo Tribe in-depth, and Hal & Sinestro are going to have some major trouble next issue. It was very talky with only a few action scenes, and it was gratuitous with deaths and blood at points (just doesn't sit right with me for a superhero comic; grim and gritty doesn't always work), but it was a decent story. I just wish it was a Green Lantern book with Kyle or Guy or Soranik or Kilowog or Arisia or Sodom Yat or pretty much any of the secondary lanterns. Miss those guys <3
Some quick questions:
1) When did Ganthet return to the Guardians, most likely forced and brainwashed? He was awesome for years and now he's part of the hivemind again. 2) I thought Hal lost his ring before or around Flashpoint. Did it return in the New 52? 3) What is going on with the rest of the Corps? I only had Hal, Sinestro, and the Indigo Tribe here with no word of the goings-on elsewhere, besides Guardians being eeeeviiiil. 4) Abin Sur... jesus. I thought it was silly how he heralded the War of Light and was taking Atrocitus to space prison and knows about the weaponer of Qward and all this other stuff. He's seriously just used for every single prophecy or 'shape of things to come' moment, isn't he? There are 7200 active Corps members, not counting the millions died and replaced in every big event. I get that it's someone familiar and that's how most stories work. But come the **** on. There are so many out there, let them shine and stop overburdening one member's history.

"And the theoretical maximum is 2880 messages, so I was only performing at 45.94% posting efficiency." - Luster Soldier
1)He was brainwashed in...the War aftermath stuff I think? 2)It's a construct ring Sinestro controls 3) Sinestro disbanded all yellow lanterns, The weaponer built Arkillo a personal yellow battery and ring, making him the last one. Red Lanterns power battery is melting Blue Lanterns homeworld being attacked by The Reach from Blue beetle Larfleeze being hunted by crazy powerful warrior angel dude named Invictus. Indigo Tribe is disbanded Star Saphires are chillin'
There is a lot of indication that either all the other corps besides green are going to be disbanded or reduced to 1 lantern.
4) We've always known Abin Sur was involved with the Indigo Tribe, this isn't a surprise!
