Well, Galko chan was fucking adorable. Think I'm gonna do Konosuba s2 next. Was gonna do Kuzu no Honkai, but I'm a bit hesitant to jump into it. Tempted to save Konosuba s2 in case Kuzu no Honkai gives me fits, but I'm just gonna watch it.

Grinding in the second dungeon (Maribel Base) in Digital Devil Saga. Almost feels therapeutic. And, for fun, I looked up the voice actors, since the game and the manual do not credit them (... as per usual). Surprise, surprise, tons of familiar names, including several from Persona 3 / 4 (... and most other JRPGs dubbed in English in the '00s).

Been meaning to get to the new season of Attack On Titan, but Crunchyroll has been very clunky as of late. Server load might be a little too high, at least for now.

I can't remember if I have Digital Devil Saga or not. I know I got two different SMT games from Gamestop's clearance sale; one was Persona 4, and the other was either DDS or Nocturne.

Halfway through Kuzu no Honka. OMG these fucking people. I swear I'm going to be pissed if Hanabi let's that nobody side character have her first time. She knows goddamn better and it feels like it's just heading straight in that direction. Hanabi is super erotic btw.

Haven't posted in a little while but! I have been slowly watching last seasons anime now that said season is over, first up was season 2 of Blue exorcist and it was.. okay I guess? nothing really stood out to me, just now I finished Masamune-kun no Revenge and it was surprisingly good, the concept was unique and the characters entertaining, I hope to see another season of it eventually given the incomplete ending, next up is... I don't know right now actually lol, I have quite a few anime's to watch <_<

Jeez, how popular is the "I died and I reincarnated into a fantasy world with game-like stats" genre in Japan?

I've read like 10 different manga series with the same premise.

Though I do admit, each has their own unique spin on it that makes it somewhat worthwhile to read. Like "I reincarnated as a slavemancer", "I reincarnated as the Demon Lord", "I reincarnated as a goblin(or slime or spider or dragon)" or "I reincarnated as a sword"

Hell, there's even an freaking "I reincarnated as a vending machine" one!

In Mushoku Tensei, he gets reincarnated as a human baby, but with an attitude for magic and a knack for building a harem.

Almost completely caught up with Promised Neverland. This being shounen, it's not unreasonable to assume Norman will return... but damned if that scene wasn't absolutely hearbreaking.

Yup. Reading that one as well!

You'd think by now I'd be burnt out on the genre, but It's weird. I kinda like seeing the different ways people can say the same story. Even if the majority of those stories have a "so-OP-the-world-breaks-when-they-fart, inexplicably-forms-a-harem-whenever-they-lock-eyes-with-anyone-with-a-vagina, Gary-Stu" character.

My favorite one so far is definitely the one with the Shield Hero. Mostly because he breaks the above gary-stu formula.

So, I've got one last map left in Disgaea 5 (carnage baal). Not sure how many achievements I'm missing still, but I'm pretty close to being done playing it. I'll probably check out that last map tomorrow and see how hard it is and if I wanna try beating it or not.

Just finished Youjo Senki and damn was it better than I was expecting. I'm loving this slight boom of non mecha, smart, war anime. I didn't even realize this show was supposed to have much action but it does and the action is well done.

Tanya was basically that kinda character done perfectly. Complete sociopath trying to rely on logic while really being motivated by an emotional response to being X. Her complete brutality was a joy to watch and I'm glad they never had her pull any punches especially since there were a lot of opportunities to. Also never got the feeling that it was some naive girl trying to be an edgelord as would have been easy to fall into by accident. Very impressed overall and even though it ended at a fine place, I would love to see more.

In general its nice to see anime battle tactics have evolved past code geass natural disaster instantly wins battle stuff (even if code geass is amazing and they pull it off super well). Alderman not long ago and youjo senki here, its nice to see. Too bad aldermin sold like shit IIRC but from my brief search youjo senki seems to have been popular on crunchyroll and the LN sales got a very dramatic increase as well as it being made by studio NUT which is made of people that left madhouse specifically because they wanted to animate youjo senki. Seems likely we could get a season 2. Only 3/7 volumes of the source material were adapted.

3 eps left of Kuzu no Honkai. I really wish I hadn't stopped at ep6 yesterday and gotten at least here to ep9, since it's a better pause point. Three episodes left and a vulnerable alone Hanabi, please, please something good happen to her. I basically figured that bitch sensei would say ok to Mugi, since he'd become desired and oni chan saying no was definitely gonna happen. She knew he was too much of a straight arrow to go after her. She's like his little sister and a student, no way I saw him saying yes to Hanabi. Sad about Ecchan though, wouldn't have minded seeing them get together, but the way they behaved made it clear they wouldn't. So, now Hanabi is all alone and I hope she doesn't do something regretful.

Yeah that anime pretty much goes awesome, pretty great but I have some concerns, pretty awesome, wtf suburu why, o god this is terrible, I think i might drop the show, woah that was actually pretty good, REM BEST GIRL, wtf suburu i hope you keep dying over an over, solid finish, fuck you emelia. Those were roughly my feelings.

Yeah, it does. The fact that it was so upsetting to me to see Subaru like that for so many episodes is just a testament to how much they made me care about his character.

Can I just take a moment to say that the episode with beast-mode Puck erupting from the castle at the end of episode 15(?) and decapitating Subaru is probably one of the most haunting things I've seen?

That stuck with me for some time after.

Yeah, she tones down a lot as it goes on. It was very surprising that Hanabi somehow made it to the end with her virginity. I'm sooo fucking glad she didn't let the playboy do it, but not letting Mugi finally do it was a bit surprising. Bitch sensei was fleshed out, but still a pretty wretched woman who was lucky to find someone to accept her. I guess it hinted that Ecchan finally gave in to her cousin at the end? Wishful thinking would be having her and Hanabi get together for the long haul.

During the middle of the show, I wouldn't have been upset at all if it had happened, but I didn't want it to in the beginning and at the end either. If he had more guts, he'd have gotten to break in both her and Moca, luckily he was gutless in that respect. The only character I didn't really get at all, was Hanabi's oni chan. Dude was just weird. He was the straight and serious type, but I don't buy the whole, it's ok if you're out there fucking and blowing everyone you meet attitude. His character didn't make any sense. I don't think it will get a s2, but if it does, I won't watch it. Still haven't run into a good romance drama anime in a while. Though I'm quite apprehensive about them these days, so I don't watch many.

Up next is Maid Dragons and I'm hoping it's fun/adorable.
