Looks promising. After Origin released I was afraid Gundam was gonna go down the route that a lot of mecha anime seem to have gone. As in having fucking CG everything everywhere. After Thunderbolt and now this, my mind is a little bit more at ease.

Might be in the mood for a good/great romance drama anime. My tops in this category are Your Lie in April, Toradora, and Golden Time. I can greatly enjoy these shows, but some of them can drive me crazy. There's a scene from one show that I can still remember and it just crushes my soul and makes me rage even now. Dunno about lately, but I'll throw out Kimi ga Nozomu Ein, I think it's called Rumbling Hearts in english or something. I read a manga called Kimi no Iru Machi, it had an anime adaption. The anime only covers one arc from a middle part of the manga though.

Haven't seen the anime, but I refuse to ever watch it simply because of the fact that I also despise Eba.

Got inspired to put Evangelion: Death & Rebirth in the DVD player. No idea why. Guess I needed a specific sort of scratch for my brain itch. ... I realize it is cool to blow raspberries at EVA, these days, but the (pre-Rebuild) franchise still hits me hard (in a good way). I can still see so much of it in the DNA of modern anime / manga and JRPGs.

I love eva man. That show has an atmosphere thats unique and weird. It seems to be very devisive though and I can understand why. Shinji is a very annoying character but he sort of had to be for the show to get across its messages about depression and people using each other and being afraid to connect and in general treating themselves badly because they feel they deserve it. Also they trolled people into thinking the fight with the angels was of any significance outside of a catalyst for extreme stress for the cast.

Shinji is less annoying to me, these days. I still hate Asuka, though, and hate is a word I try never to use. ... It might be the psychology of it that keeps me coming back, though it pains me to admit that it has been eight years since I had my last full rewatch. Every time, I get something a little different from the show.

I love eva too. It was basically my first anime aside from dragonball Z. It wouldn't have been the same if I didn't have my friend explain a whole bunch of stuff, but I was deeply intrigued even if the endings/concepts were confusing as fuck. Though, I wouldn't become a weeb until 5 years later.

Well to keep it short: I definitely enjoyed it and loved how cute the characters were, but I also never found myself excited for it. I suppose maybe it was just too pleasant for its own good, almost as if it blended in and became lost among other cute girl shows this season. That may sounds negative, but I would gladly welcome 9 more seasons to see the girls reach each rank of urara and ultimately find Chiya's mother.

VERY IMPORTANT

My favorite girls were Matsuko (yes, the doll), Nono, and her older sister whose name escapes me. I'd add that amazing blonde witch to the list if she were there for more than one episode.

Wow. I guess that wasn't very short at all.

Oh yeah. For what it's worth, I absolutely adored the setting of the show. I loved how the town felt so massive yet cozy but also full of secrets even though you never get to see that much of it.

It took a little while to get used to ONE's wonky drawing style, but I did it. (It helps that the art gets better as it goes along).

ONE is definitely a genius at writing deconstructions of Gary-Stu characters.

Started it last night and I caught up to the latest chapter (99 I think?) almost immediately. I'm hooked.

I watched One Punch Man on Netflix. I liked it. The final episode fight was great. Unfortunately for him he won't have one like that for a while haha
