He also does not approach the terra lynch with any particular enthusiasm, and in fact rather blatantly talks himself into it. I don't see these actions in line with being a protective role himself.

You're still missing the point. If you buy that Terra can't be Town for that reason, then it doesn't make sense for you to buy Chris either at that time. But your posts do not give off the impression of any sort of conflict of that sort.

I use Jailer offensively, as I view a roleblock to be very powerful for town. If Chris the Doctor dies that's a tragedy but it avoids messy situations later in the game where people go "Wow, the guy who immediately called bullshit on the bulllshit claim and is clearly protection through the lens he has played the game so far is alive, HOW STRANGE."

I actually had a really weird work schedule this weekend and while I went home early today I had been at work for 10 hours so I didn't really go home early, probably out sick tomorrow though I am wiped. It was half used offensively. If you were town, you were going to be targeted by the kill. If you were scum, it was going to be used offensively on you. With me being Jailer, I figured it was 50/50 on your alignment and was the perfect move.

Yeah I didnt see why Chris would ever counterclaim Terra as scum. Then at the end of day I thought about how powerful Terra's role would sound to scum and that maybe Chris would sacrifice himself to get rid of it. I made a post about this at EOD and Chris responded and then didnt respond to my followup.

And Chris, if you were backup psychic, what did you think of terra claiming psychic?? Nothing at all?
