Couple times as a teenager. I would call 911 and hang up the phone at a store or a restaurant. My friends and I would run away after I called. I was an idiot back in the day...

Yeah, when my dad tried killing us.
Then when a guy at work was having a heart attack.
A few weeks ago some guy at work called 911 because a lady bumped his car and he made me talk to them because he was too upset... >_>. I apologized and told them it wasn't an emergency at all.

Here, the number is 999. And it's usually because of traffic-related issues rather than crimes committed.

Just once that I can remember, to report what seemed like a drunk driver on the highway (periodically swerving all over the place, with major overcompensation happening). The driver actually pulled off to the side just as I called, but I gave them all the information anyway, and the local police that investigated called me back afterwards to say that it was a lady that had realized she was too tired to be driving, and pulled over to rest. It was a pretty cool time; everyone was safe and nobody ended up facing charges or anything.

Once as a prank as a kid. And then because I couldn't get my car out of a major intersection. I was stopped at the light and my car was missing the guiding pin for the brakes. Eventually with enough throttling I was able to dart out and get home.

Funnily enough, when I called 9-1-1, I got a busy signal >_>'

I figured you already knew about that. It's been like 10 years or so, but he had always told us he'd kill us one day and had bullets with our names marked on them. He got angry and said he'd had enough, he grabbed his bullets and was going for the gun saying he was going to shoot each of us in the head. We got in a big brawl and he ended up trying to strangle me while I was pinned to the floor beneath him. I managed to break free and call 911 and that he tackled me and smashed the phone, but actually calmed down after that.

I thought he was going to try again a couple if weeks ago when we were all arguing and he was cussing my cousin and threatening us, and I whipped him with his own belt out of anger. He hasn't interacted with me since then, but he told my mom that I'm dead to him now, and that next time I oppose him at all, he'll knock her out then blow my brains out, and have her wake up next to my corpse.

I talked to a state trooper about it at work, since they stop in to check on us. He suggested either kicking him out and getting a protective order, or having him committed for a psych evaluation. I think I've convinced her to have him committed if he ever acts out again, but idk, I guess we'll have to wait and see. Apparently he's saying awful things about me and my cousin behind our backs now and she won't say what it is.

Yes. One night my dogs started barking like crazy and I heard a noise like someone was on my fence, followed by a really heavy thump and since my window overlooks part of the backyard right by the gate, I called the cops and triple checked every lock in the house. Brought the dogs in too. I wasn't gonna leave them out there. I was scared half to death.

Neighborhood friends. They were screaming and stuff about domestic abuse. I was about to walk down there myself but I guess I didn't have the nads.

Dairly often when I worked at a gas station. Usually because of a crime un progress. Couple of times I can think of off the top of ny head.

Woman pacing outside the store with a metal bat trying to attack her boyfriend who slipped out the back door.

Another gentleman was buying beer when he saw someone he had a dispute with and broke a bottle updide his head.

Another time a guy was high and was pumping gas everyehere but his gas tank.

Once just because people were being suspicious. Parked an unmarked van in the parking lot and sat there with the car running from 1 am to 440am before I called the cips to have them check it out.
