Would you still sleep in your room if you knew a big spider was in there somewhere?

you'd be surprised at how many people would not sleep in their bedroom if they know a big spider was on the loose in there and they failed to get it....

Your logic is faulty in that if you saw a big spider, you continue looking for it until you find it.

However, every night you're potentially sleeping in the room with a big spider, you just don't know where it is...

Would and have. I do, however, tend to sleep more lightly and within arms reach of a can of Raid.

Probably. They don't really bother me much. I'll take them over a stupid noisy dog.

If said spider was poisonous, then no.

The thing is, one would never be sure it's still there or if it somehow managed to escape. It's not the fear of being bitten so much as the ANXIETY of thinking you might be bitten that can terrify a person.

As long as you don't eat it, you'll be fine.

I would not sleep until I've had tracked it down and annihilated it.
Like that really annoying fly that flew around my room which prevented me from accessing my dreams.
It eventually flew into the lamp and killed itself and I could finally go to sleep.

No I would definitely not be surprised. Most people won't go to sleep with a wild animal capable of biting loose in their bedroom

Is it a comfortable spider? Why would I choose to sleep in a spider instead of my bed?

How big a spider are we talking? A tarantula? Because in that case, I guess I conveniently have a new pet!

One time I was really tired and going to bed, but then I noticed a gross spider right in front of my eyes going up his web into my hair.

I just went to sleep. Didn't even try to get it out. I had a lot of hair. It's a little tiny bug, not a rabid animal. Americans aren't known for dying to spider-bites.

I generally don't like to sleep inside spiders.

If the spider was in my bedroom though, and got away, I'd still sleep just fine.
