I mean, I just beat Senran Kagura which is a an all-female Dynasty Warriors type of game except you win by tearing the clothes off of enemies, and I have a game called Gal Gun where every girl in school chases you because they want your dick so you have to shoot them with a special gun to keep them off of you. I'm not really in a position to get on anyone about their weaboo games.

Those games both sound tight. A quick explanation of Danganronpa would be, you're a high school student who gets kidnapped and trapped in a "killing game" with a bunch of other students. The rule is no one can leave unless they commit a murder and get away with it. So one person kills another and you have to do an investigation and hold a trial to figure out whodunit, four or five times per game. It's also got a light social sim aspect. It's extremely my shit.

Oh my cousin likes that anime.

It actually does sound interesting but I don't know why you would solve the murders in that scenario or how you escape if you don't kill. I guess what I'm saying is now I'm curious.

You gotta solve the murder because there's a trial either way, and if the killer gets away with it he/she can leave but the rest of you get killed.

I heard somewhere if the twins make the playoffs, it will be the first time in the world series era that a team makes the playoffs the season after a 100+ loss season. Wasn't sure if that included the wild card game or not

I thought the 08 Rays did that but it turns out they only lost 96 games in 07 after 101 in 06. They were special somehow, maybe that was the greatest difference year to year

The Cardinals' elimination number is down to 3 with 5 to play and 4 for their rivals. 7 of the remaining 9 games between the Cards and Rockies need to have a pro Cardinals result. II'm taking Milwaukee for granted here because of that last series. This feels like a tall order

I think the twins need to win 1/5 games OR the angels need to lose 1/5 games. So they're guaranteed to make it

Yeah the Twins have at least clinched the tiebreaker after winning today. They're definitely getting in. Maybe they'll even beat the Yankees, who knows. It's just one game and all the Yankees are good for is hitting home runs

The tiebreaker game is technically a regular-season game, though it's not like it matters. The Twins aren't going to lose out with the Angels winning out at the same time. I don't think that even the fabled 2011 season had that big of a collapse

If A.J. Pollock can get back to his 2015 pre-injury form, I think the D-Backs would have an extremely underrated OF. I would say they could be even better next year, but J.D. Martinez is an unrestricted free agent in 2018 so things could change.

Did you get your own done? I imagine that it would be slightly different since you don't all get the same genes but idk. If somebody's mom was pure German and their dad was pure Irish, they'd always say they're half German and half Irish, but is that really true? The way genes are divided up is much more complex

Edit: Actually, I take that back, because in the end you still get half from your mom and half from your dad. So your Irish nose and German eyes might instead be your sister's German nose and Irish eyes, but that wouldn't change the ancestry makeup

Jon Gray's mortal enemy, the rain, has returned to Denver and it's supposed to be around pretty much all day. What exactly could they do with it being this late in the season? Granted, it's not raining very hard right now, so I imagine they might just try to play through it.

I think I've seen them just cancel games outright sometimes, but probably only when both teams are out of the playoff race.

The Rockies have a 10 run lead. If they can hold on that exhausts one of the two available negative results for the Cardinals. Starting to think the Cardinals fucked this up

I was surprised to look at the standings and see the Cubs haven't clinched a playoff spot. There's a crazy scenario where they could miss the playoffs if they lose out and Milwaukee wins out then beats them in a tiebreaker. That would be pretty interesting, although it would also require the Rockies to either win all their remaining games, or win 88 and beat the Cubs in a tiebreaker.
