There's actually a very good reason for this, and I'm curious if you don't realize it due to ignorance on the concept. While Republicans do hold a sizable portion of the House of Representatives, the Senate they hold only a two senator lead (52-48). While the House requires a simple majority, the Senate is subject to filibuster rules and requires a vote of 60 senators to pass a bill through. And keep in mind, despite any misgivings and hand-wringing by Senate Republicans, they vote with the president. He can't get his agenda through not because of Republican opposition, but rather because he hasn't been able to lure enough Democrats over to pass that 60 vote threshold for most of his biggest agenda items.

Now when it came down to repealing Obamacare, the Senate attempted to do so using budget reconciliation, which allowed them to change laws if they're related to the budget. By doing so, they lowered the threshold to a simple majority that could be broken by the Vice President (51-50). This was the dramatic attempt to repeal the ACA via the so-called "skinny repeal" which still garnered 49 of the 52 Republican Senator's votes.

In general, Republicans have overwhelmingly voted for his cabinet picks, his justice for the Supreme Court, his lower level court appointments, and any attempts at repealing and replacing the ACA. But the lack of major legislative victories has been logistics (narrow margin for budget reconciliation, having to pick of Democrats for other legislation). Even if they dislike Trump (which they probably do for his rhetoric and general buffoonery), they overwhelming support his agenda and have voted time and again with it, with very few deviations.

That's largely why Trump is struggling to sign bills, he's doing a poor job of breaking through to Democrats save for the deals he worked out with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer.

And Trump failed to understand that point as well, complaining about the need to get rid of the filibuster so his agenda could go through... except none of the Obamacare repeal attempts had 51 votes.

So either Trump has to make in-roads with the Democrats or he can hope for a significant wave election in 2018 to push his numbers closer to the magical 60 votes.

How is my post a lie? People complain about McCain being a RINO but he votes overwhelmingly with Republicans. In fact, he voted yes on certain version of the Obamacare repeal. He voted for all of Trump's cabinet picks. And the ability to circumvent Senate laws is limited in scope. They were only allowed one agenda item for budget reconciliation and they chose to target Obamacare, leaving all other bills to face standard Senate procedure.

LOOK AT THE VOTING RECORDS! It's all on record, it's all public, and on the internet. There are plenty of globalist rats among the republican party.

There's only two Republican Senators that have even remotely voted against Trump with any level of consistency, and it's Lisa Murkowski and Susan Collins. And even then, it's only been a handful of votes (stuff like the Obamacare, Betsy DeVos are the only significant ones that come to mind). If you don't believe me, go look yourself and see how many times someone like Marco Rubio has voted against the president's agenda.

Trump does not need the democrats, whose direction from now on is straight towards the abyss. He needs to take control over his own party.

He does need the Democrats as he needs 60 votes on all agenda items save if they try budget reconciliation on one actionable item for the next time they can.

For one, birth rate and a culture's survival are not related as long as the birth rate is above zero (that isn't to say that birth rate alone can save a culture, of course).
