Which one would you prefer?

Idk some people just don't like frozen pizza that you have to bake. So i'm comparing what many would consider the lower rung take out pizza to your favorite frozen pizza. Seen some topics before and i think the clear frozen favorites are digiorno and red baron.

I normally don't like frozen pizzas and if I do have one I stick with Totino's since they are cheap and the ones that are a few dollars more aren't much better

Recently though I had a coupon for this brand called Table 5 Pizza that used a cornmeal crust and it was out of this world. It actually costs more than a Little Caesars pizza regularly but I would much rather have one of them than a Hot and Ready pizza

Haven't tried the "new" LC, but since it's still being advertised for low price and speed of transaction first and foremost, I have a feeling it's still utter shit.
And I have pretty forgiving standards for pizza.

Meanwhile, frozen pizza is pretty delicious. Haven't had many besides Red Baron (very good, I like the spices used) and store brands. The store brands sometimes have Goat Cheese, Spinach, and Tomato pizza which is fucking awesome and better than anything LC could ever do.

Wait... people somewhere enjoy take-n-bake pizza? That is one of the craziest things I have read on the internet. Every single take-n-bake that has opened here has failed miserably, including Papa Murphy's (who made it less than six months.)

I would take one of Little Ceasar's deep deep dish pizzas over an oven baked but I would not take a hot-n-ready over an oven baked (depending on the brand.)

I use papa murphy's as a build your own pizza place.

Get a 5$ fav (usually get pepporoni), then add your own cheese and toppings.

Can't be the price (Seriously even frozen pizza's are usually more), and the topping you put on are super cheap.

I generally put on roasted/sauteed onions and bell peppers (my own), sometimes olives, and a whole but ton of additional cheese.

Onions bellpeppers can be sliced very thin and made perfect before putting on the pizza (as far as roasting em). Way better then most pizza places that put the chunks on your pizza.

Olives cost nothing, just add a bit of flavor and you can just put it on part of the pizza if everyone doesn't want some.

Big 2 pound thing of cheese (whole milk Mozz) is $7....and can be used for many many pizzas. It's far superior then the mozz pretty much every pizza place uses (which is seriously sad).

So yeah, toppings....probably add another $1 total to the cost, so for $6 you get a freaking DELICIOUS pizza made just the way you want, that you can make any time within 2 days (Without freezing it...cause freezing it kills the dough).

Don't get me wrong I still do get pizza delivered when I'm lazy, have nothing at home etc, but yeah...that $6 pizza I make myself is better then pretty much any place near me right now *sigh*.

I enjoyed it a several times as "cheap" pizza. Now though I can barely eat the stuff before being disgusted. Gone are the days I could eat half a pizza from them. Now I can barely get through two slices.

Theres some pretty good frozen pizzas out there, If I had one choice I would take that.

Because they taste terrible. The worst chain pizza is better than the best frozen pizza.

Also, worst chain pizza is, or at least used to be, Chuck E. Cheese. I've heard they changed the recipe recently, though, so I don't know if that still holds.

Digiorno and Red Baron are crap tbh, but if I went for a frozen pizza I actually like it'd not only beat Little Caesars but pretty much every major pizza chain out there. I'm not sure whether that says more for the quality of the frozen pizza or the lack of quality of the pizza chains.

It says neither. Chain pizza is objectively better, but it's kinda' like movies. A mediocre movie is objectively better than a bad movie, but some bad movies are so bad as to be entertaining, making them more enjoyable than the mediocre movie. I'd guess there's a similar thing at play here.

My local ingress team has a plusplus bot in our slack channels. We have a running joke with little Caesar's where it is currently at negative 300 someodd points. Our most infamous local ingress players are in the +60s or negative 40s at best. We have one player that actually likes LC and his upvotes get crushed everytime he's fool enough to bring it up.

Also, surprised there has been no mention of the Paul Newman's frozen pizzas yet. Those are pretty damn good for frozen pizzas and I have pretty high standards where pizza is concerned.

I grew up in what was a shitty town in many respects, but you couldn't swing a dead cat in Stamford, CT without hitting a decent pizza place. the pizza as a whole in Orange county NY is disappointing at best by comparison. I'd actually rather throw a Paul Neumann's in the oven than get a pizza from like the 3 or 4 nearest pizza places to my house, and ironically one of those pizza places IS a Little Caesar's.

I have to disagree there in the case of barbecue chicken pizza. The substitution of BBQ sauce for marinara makes a world of difference if the pizza place has half a clue what they're doing.

No.

While I don't think much of most frozen pizza, I've had frozen pizza that is genuinely good, and the only thing that beats it is local places that specifically make high quality artisan pizza. The problem here, is this is a subjective statement. Which brings us to the problem of your assertion.

Better is ambiguous and meaningless without context. And with context it'd likely amount to being a subjective statement. How do you define better objectively? Price? There's frozen pizza that's cheaper. Focuses on specific dietary restrictions (gluten/dairy free)? Frozen has it where I can't think of any major chain that tries. The quality of the ingredients? You have to be careful here as this is more of a subjective statement without some major clarifications on what defines quality, but I've seen frozen that uses fresh mozzarella and other premium ingredients where as most chains I can think of don't really offer such.

If you want to try to explain how chain pizza is objectively better I'd be curious. I'm not expecting much, though , and from your post I imagine part of the problem is that you've never actually had a good frozen pizza.
