Nah. I don't give a shit about "conference champions." I'll take a one loss team whose only loss was on the road to a Top 5 opponent in a rivalry game over literally any other one-loss team.

Hurts takes an awful sack and then makes two awful throws.

Every part of Alabama fell apart late in the game. Kind of surprising to see this out of Alabama.

1 loss Bama gets in over is for sure. Plus SEC champ. Plus Acc champ. Plus Oklahoma. Fuck. This hurts way more than the money I had on Alabama win

The ONLY way Bama should be left out would be....

Clemson
Oklahoma
Wisconsin...

THAT IS ABSOLUTELY IT!!!!!

OSU should be done. USC should be done. TCU should be done. Miami should be done (now with Bama losing)

I mean their best win is Mississippi State. The only team in contention with a worse schedule is Wisconsin, and they'll have to beat Ohio State along the way.

UGa should absolutely be #1.

Less losses than Auburn, LOL Clemson, Wisky still hasn't played anyone. With Miami losing Georgia should be #1.

Truly it doesn't matter cause whoever wins in Atlanta next week will be the #1 seed regardless of what happens. But if we're being honest Ga has the best resume in the country right now.

What can happen they won't be #1?

When the rankings come out Tuesday they are going to be either 2 and 3 or 3 and 4....

Either way, they will be the ONLY playoff team that has a top 3 (or even top FIVE) win next week.

Ohio Stare has 0 chance of getting in over Bama no matter what they do so yeah.

Clemson 1
Oklahoma 2
Wisconsin/SEC Champion 3
SEC Champion/Alabama 4

If Ohio State beats Wisconsin, and Oklahoma actually loses to TCU this time, all hell breaks loose. You're sitting there with 3 locks and Ohio State, Miami, Georgia, Notre Dame, TCU, and Penn State all with 2 losses.

You also might have 2 loss Pac 12 champion USC for the lulz.

Oklahoma beat Ohio State
Ohio State beat Penn State
TCU and Oklahoma beat each other
Georgia's only losses are to Auburn, with neither at home.
Miami beat Notre Dame, but these are the weakest two teams anyway.

I feel like it might still go down to Ohio State and Oklahoma, so does 2-loss Oklahoma still get in due to their head to head with Ohio State?

So let's play a game.

Get Ohio State in the Playoffs..

If you have OSU in
Without Bama you are disqualified and don't play, cause Bama is getting in over OSU unless they win by by 140 next week....

Get the Buckeyes to the Sugar/Rose bowl. Good luck.

Wisconsin, right now... today as we stand is #5....

Bama and Miami lost.

So they are at worst gonna be #3 if no one jumps them.

You think Wisconsin, who is undefeated, can win the Title next week at worst at #3, and somehow LOSE 2 spots for beating a top 10 team?

Wisconsin is in with a win. No way around that.

They SHOULD be #1 and 2. They'll be #2-4 (two of the spots in a row in some order).

But as I said it doesn't matter because the winner will one thousand percent be the #1 seed in the final rankings regardless of the rest of the country.

Never said that.

I said "and no one leap frogs then" (as in a conditional in addition too) I'm not saying no one will, but if no one does they are at worst 3. still.... even if they do (they should and will)

Georgia and Auburn play each other..

My point is that Wisconsin no matter what happens, absolte worst case scenario will make the playoff still. (Assuming they win of course)

But lol, Lamar Jackson just last year was on a #11 team before losing to Kentucky when their first loss was to Clemson. They don't give a shit about Heisman candidates.
