If you're talking about EO5, I've never played it, but I think I do recall 25 floors being about right in the ones I've gone through. Sixth stratum is when post-game begins.

EO is usually broken down into 5 strata for the main game and then a 6th post game 1 where the game's super boss usually is on top of the 3 elemental dragons (which have to die to up ur lvl cap) along w/ other stuff EO 3 is somehwat different in that i beleive the 3 dragons are hidden behind the whole sailing thing

millenium girl is the enhanced version of 1 which would be followed by fafnir knight (remake of 2) then 3 4 and 5 i do not recommend playin the original versions of 1 or 2 unless u really wanna see the game's roots.. also be wary of playin classic mode on EOU 1 because u can't access the "story" area in that and the game's lvl curve expects u to of gone through that (like an example say ya finished strata 1 at lvl 13 then the extra bit would push u to 16 which would be what the game expects u to be at for the 2nd strata) the 2nd untold game fixes this tho by givin u a quest after beating a strata to access the story area

I would really just recommend release order because the mechanics improve in each one, but 4 still holds up. 3 should be getting a remake soon, so you can play Millennium Girl, then Fafnir Knight, then 3. And yeah, as mentioned, the original DS games can be...rough. if memory serves it's listed effect was "reduce elemental damage by %" which u'd think would cover fire volt and ice.. except the game also considered stab cut and bash as "elements" so it affected that too.. and yea i don't remember hte exact % but maxed immunize could let u medic sit on the front row mostly unchallenged as s/he smashed stuff w/ caedeus.. even late game bosses like the wyvern or fire dragon
edit: looked it up at base lvl 10 it's 60% reduction to all dmg taken.. boosted it was 90% tho i dunno how u boosted skills in EO 1 DS.. tho yea combine that w/ protector's defender and... proceeed to laugh at EVERYTHIGN --- Every time I hear "The Big Bang Theory" I imagine God having sex with something and BOOM the Universe was created. - PatrickSim ... Sorry @GiftedACIII was afk, but yeah the 25th floor is the "final" one, 26-30 is the post game stuff which also adds to the story so you might want to do it, but be warned that the difficulty really ramps up there and your cookie cutter build might not cut it, same for the cap raising bosses.
