No, especially when you remind me that salary stuff can be really complicated. It's the same thing with coaching. Sometimes I feel like I could make better use of my timeouts than some coaches, or manage a bullpen better, but I wouldn't know jack shit about calling plays, what pitch selections to give a pitcher, etc.

No I don't. I would probably get an even worse return for this Marlins fire sale

I'd be terrible. The only thing I can say is I would maybe be able to hire some good people in the front office to help me, but my player evaluation skills would be too lacking to be any good at the job.
