Finished dragon ball super, would not recommend honestly, pretty inconsistent and poorly planned, feels like they just made most of it up as they went.

Only arcs really worth watching is the God of Destruction Beerus Saga and the Future Trunks Saga.

Started Watching Grimgar, I likes it.

Heh, I just finished it today myself and thought the same, the Future Trunks arc really was the peak of the series imo

The ending was so blegh Goku losing Ultra instinct because it was an "accident that it happened" is some pretty awful writing, the only good thing about the end was the fact that 17 won the tourney which I liked because I thought he was a good character throughout the arc, 17's wish was easy to predict but bringing back the magical girl squad and Kale and co? noooooo!

Half way through citrus. Such wonderful yuri goodness. Full of melodrama but too much yuri feelings and kissing (and more) for me to possibly care. The ecchi/romance scenes go pretty far considering its not an ecchi show. Probably not worth watching if you aren't into yuri but very worth it if you are IMO. At least thus far.

Citrus complete. The second half nearly enraged me but it ended up ok. Yuri goodness is always so hard for shows to sustain without obnoxious melodrama apparently. Still worth the watch for yuri fans. Could have been better but could have been worse as well I guess. Probably have to wait another year for a new yuri show. Unfortunate. Would be really damn great to have a yuri that isn't a romance drama. Theres other genres too, writers.

It's on my radar, but not what I'm looking for at the moment, but probably won't be too long before I get around to watching it.

I'm still desperate for a yuri ecchi harem. Something shameless and dumb like highschool dxd but with all girls. However, I'd mostly love to have a yuri show with a good plot unrelated to the romance. Basically what I really mean to say is it would be nice to have yuri AND something else within the same show instead only the yuri romance cause I find a lot of the times that reduces things to melodrama because the writers need something to happen and if the only thing in the whole show is this one relationship then something has to happen to it.

If instead of that, something important was going on that the relationship could develop alongside of, like fighting demons or solving a mystery or pretty much anything, I feel like you could have a much healthier relationship being portrayed that didnt make me want to smack all of the characters every few episodes.

Blazed through Mahoutsukai no Yome's second half yesterday, so today I'm starting Gakuen Babysitters.

Watched the first 3 eps of yuru camp. Not a great idea to do so right after citrus. My yuri senses keep tingling with these cute girls relaxed and alone cold enough to cuddle together for warmth but I'm pretty sure this series has no intentions of heading in that direction (sadly). It is pretty relaxing. It's sorta like it's not really that great, but theres just no effort cost to watching it.

EDIT: also I love how the intro has a cute anime girl wearing a fake mustache exactly like demolition d+'s seasonal impression videos. Would of been the perfect thumbnail if he still made those...or anything at all. RIP the only good anime youtuber.

You guys should definitely read this if you're in the mood for something fluffy, wholesome, and sometimes bittersweet reading.

It's a story that centers around a family made up of a man who recently lost his wife, his daughter, and his brother that came to live with them; and their day-today lives as they learn to live with their grief, moving on from their loss, and just watch them grow as people. And of course, the adorable adventures the daughter gets into.

It's one of my all time favorites. You guys should definitely check it out.

I think the most important factor is bluray sales.

Though theres a few anime I didnt think were getting second seasons such as Kekkai Sensen and Overlord (I dont know the sales on those but Im glad second seasons came out).

Wasnt crazy for second season of BBB but Overlord S2 is dipped in gold.

Casca <3 is finally baaack!!! That dress is gorgeous. This whole chapter is drawn beautifully. Multiple panels just made me stare. When farnese asked if she remembered Gutts and the next panel is a full page portrait of Casca smiling with tears in my eyes was amazing. Really sucks that Guts triggered her bad memories :(

Ok, NOW I've finished and yes that ending was adorable. Totally ready for spinoff yuri camp. Rin x .... main girl? I don't remember her name even though I literally just finished watching it. Oh well. This was the best travel brochure I've ever watched.

It even passes the true slice of life test. No episode 11 melodrama. All other slice of life shows should take note.

The Alliance Alive (3DS) released today. No fanfare for it, but it is another one of those first runs that Atlus does (i.e. special box, art book, soundtrack CD, keychain, etc.). Will have to see how it compares to Legend of Legacy.

I wanted to get that with all the bonus stuff, but it's even rarer than Stella Glow or Radiant Historia. The nearest store that has it is almost 20 miles away from where I live.

Should have pre-ordered it I guess.

I asked the store I go to if they're gonna get a copy, and they said they probably will soon, but it won't be the one with all the bonus stuff. :(

Rip citrus on MAL. Just dropped under 7.0 despite being a solid adaptation of an above 8.0 manga. It seems lots of anime watchers don't know to expect melodrama from yuri and went in with unrealistic expectations. Supposedly the anime is doing very well in japan though. Strange. I tend to think japan really under appreciates their yuri. Should probably look up a source before I let myself get hopeful for a season 2.

Theres just nothing else I want to watch that's finished yet. Really not a fan of how staggered the ending of this season has been.

I totally agree. I fucking hate melodrama. It's just it sadly comes with the genre for now. It would be odd of me to go into a shonen expecting nuance and subtlety and then getting pissed when they don't have it and this is kinda the same thing.

I find it incredibly depressing that citrus is actually one of the best yuri manga that exists. It's basically the second highest rated behind girl friends and theres major flaws with it BUT it's still pretty good yuri. People also seem to be throwing around rape incorrectly to describe a surprise kiss early on which is somewhat infuriating to me but whatever.
