the idea is that with tons of money, you have a gazillion more options for entertainment. i like arguing here as much as the next guy (obviously), but i can't imagine it's the most fun thing in the universe.

like for instance, if i were rich i'd go to the movies at least thrice a week. now that i'm not rich, i can only afford to see a handful of movies in theaters each year.

My mother is a Kiwi but lives in Canada. She's had paperwork troubles just passing through the states, and seeing Trump's attitude towards foreigners convinced her not to try vacationing in the states. Because she was planning to go with friends too, that means a decent group of people going to Europe instead of the states due to Trump's influence. And that's just something I personally observed, among people from a "desirable" country. I can imagine there's a lot of people whose plans changed.
