Mine was bizarre. It started with two girls I knew (one went to law school with me, the other I didn't recognize) in camo armor telling me that the neighborhood was going to get attacked by some fictional gun cultist militia people (far cry 5 esque) so we had to run. She showed me videos on her phone of attacks taking place in other neighborhoods so i'm like "let's fucking go then".

I hopped in the car with the girl i knew from high school and we drove off so I thought I was safe. She didn't have camo armor on anymore, just normal clothes. I turned on my gps on my phone to see where we were going but I couldn't make it out since it kept scrambling around. (Protip for lucid dreamers, always check phones, clocks, light switches, etc. They almost never work, which can tip you off on the fact that you're actually dreaming...I didn't realize it this time, though).

Eventually, we drove by a narrow street and then saw the gun cultists on the street firing ARs around like crazy, so I got down and told the girl to step on it. She replied with "Wow, you're kind of a pussy, aren't you?"

We drove off and then I'm like "Ok, take me home right fucking now." But I could tell she was just driving around and going to go back to the cultists, so I just took the wheel and we crashed. I got out, and the other girl from the beginning pulls up in her own car, gets out and asks if we're okay and if I need a ride.

I look at her skeptically and ask "Wait, is this gonna be like Get Out?"

She goes, "Yeah, pretty much".

Then the dream ends.

I've been haphazardly trying to lucid dream for a while now since I dream almost every night (or to be specific, I recall my dreams almost every night). I used to write some notes on my dreams when I woke up in the morning which helped, but I've stopped doing that. If I really wanna remember one, I just play it over in my head and it stays there at least for the day.

Ah I used to be able to do it more often before. My favorite way to do it was green lantern powers. With the ring as the conduit, I could make a shit ton of stuff.

I'm definitely out of practice though. Last time I had a lucid dream (probably like two months ago), I realized I was dreaming, got all cocky and tried to do a Kamehameha and nothing happened. I was so mad. Then I tried to fly, and it didn't work either until I got frustrated and gave up, then I started floating aimlessly. It was kind of annoying.
