Oh and I never got nearly all the achievements or friendships or recipes, but that's kind of boring so I don't care

You guys got further than me. I think I stopped at two years or so. I did most of the stuff in the game, though. I caught all of the fish, made a lot of the recipes, and turned in most of the museum stuff. The only area I neglected is friendships and romance (never got married or had kids [forever alone]), and I didn't feel like cycling through another year just to give gifts over and over.

Got to year three, only had one kid (because he ended up providing no labor whatsoever), and had grandpa appear.

I find it weird that the Giants play the Dodgers 7 times in the first 9 games and then barely play them again for the rest of the season.

edit: I was only looking at the first half. They still play them a lot later on. I admit that I'm dumb, but it's still a weird start to the season.

like for internet at your place? if so, how much do you pay/how much bandwith do you get, if you don't mind me asking?

$40/month for 18 Mbps. An incredible value!!!

I'm paying $50 a month for 60 Mbps. I'm not sure if internet pricing is a regional thing or what, but that seems a little hefty. But comcast also tries to get sneaky. A year ago they upped my rate by $20 and I went online and found some "coupon" that changed it back to the 60 mbps for $50 monthly

I also didn't know I had a data cap until a couple months ago. Mine is also 1 TB. I pirate movies/shows a decent amount, and stream shows/movies all the time, and I've never gotten close to my cap limit

It's got more to do with like coverage maps than region. 18 MBPS is the best you can get in certain parts of St. Louis City

In fact the 18 was the only option I had, period. I couldn't even get less for cheaper. The only way I could have "saved" any money is if I had gotten locked into a two year DirecTV contract, and it just would have bumped internet to $30 for the first 12 months. I've got $40 flat for a full year, and we'll be getting sling TV as well for $25/month because they have Cardinals games.

Nobody actually likes it, it's just funny because of how bad it is. He pronounces words funny. Also I think he cribbed it from one of his own existing songs which is lazy and shows in like half the song that has nothing to do with baseball

Looking at the NHL schedule, the last spot in the West could come down to the final game between the Avs and Blues. How exciting! I'll be sure to talk lots of trash to the Blues fans here who also totally pay lots of attention to hockey like me

Apparently the Los Angeles Angels retired the "of Anaheim" from their name two years ago and I just now learned this. But it's still one of the worst names in sports, that just doesn't roll off the tongue. They should go back to California Angels
