-Hiro has horns and interactions with zero two are actually amazing. Horn bump... NUT

-Nana reverting to puberty
-The nines know a lot and are definitely antagonists and will eventually be enemies
-Kokoro x Mitsuru actually happened which I expected for a while but didn't know if the story was gonna go that way.
-Kokoro not a thot for wanting to have a baby imo. Her reasonings are actually pretty good. Maybe for snaking Futoshi, but he's literally just a joke character now.
-Hiro is a bro, encouraged Mitsuru which got him laid
-Klax Princess is strong and those APE guys were stupid af
-Human wannabees
-Maybe bad translation but Papa definitely referred to themselves as creations of the Klax.
-Dr Franxx was experimenting with puberty but didn't expect the reproductive urges to happen, not sure if they knew about the book.

Mitsuru will probably die. Futoshi may commit suicide. Goro will be alone. Ichigo may go gay.

Really interested to know what happens next episode. Will Mitsuru ask Hiro if he's done it will Zero Two? Will Kokoro be super happy and tell everyone?

Somehow wound up watching Naruto Shippuden (which, while I know many of the major plotpoints from wiki-walking, I didn't see that much of in the past). Currently running through the part where Naruto is sailing for the Land of Lightning yet somehow he keeps running into his teammates on various islands which is driving me crazy because, if you have people getting back and forth between that and the Leaf Village almost instantly, what's the point of taking the route they're on?

DitF has had 3 killer eps in a row. Kinda scared and excited to see how long they can keep this up. Shit's gonna have to go belly up for the squad eventually and we'll probably see a couple of slow eps after that one. Really glad I stuck with it.

Probably. I have no issue with it being filler, particularly because I enjoy the more episodic content. The only thing that bugs me, as mentioned, is how characters will just quickly arrive there and then be back in the village despite the fact that this voyage is taking a while. Seems like there must have been a more direct route or something, even factoring in all of the stops they've taken.

Dragon's Crown Pro is really pretty, as expected. The music got reorchestrated, too. Well worth the investment.

Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux is a harder sell. Remastered graphics, new content, new animated cut scenes, adjustable difficulty, and tons of voice acting, but all of the voices are in Japanese. Feels a little odd, since Atlus almost always dubs their U.S. releases, even on 3DS, so I feel like they missed an opportunity there.

I would get Dragon's Crown Pro, if it had some new additions and wasn't just a port with graphic and music improvements. I can't really justify it at that price so I'll just stick with the Vita version.

Just finished the Fate Heavens Feel movie and well... it was fantastic, the soundtrack was awesome, the animation was some of Ufotable's best ever and the plot pacing was great, I can't wait for part 2

I don't think I can watch Heaven's Feel.

It was the first time I ever saw or got exposed to sexually disturbing stuff, and I think I got traumatized a little bit from it.

I mean, I can watch/read WAAY more depraved and messed up stuff now without batting an eye, but somehow, whenever I replay the VN, I always get stuck on the Heaven's Feel route and something about it makes me not to go through with it.

Yeah episode 5.5 came out this last week instead of 6 and its just a recap of the first 5 episodes. I can't see why you would possibly do that.

EDIT: Also ugh, I'm not really in the mood for any of the airing anime. I'm an episode behind on almost all of them. I watched megalo box episode 6 and idk. The show has style but I'm starting to feel like it might not have substance. It doesn't fill the whole left by Ippo. The fight despite all the hype build up just felt so weak. I hope hinamatsuri is good this week cause it feels like everything I decided to watch started off so strong but then went downhill. I haven't had cause to drop anything yet but its still a bummer. Darling is still great but I kinda don't feel like just watching the one episode I have to watch. Might wait a week or two and watch a few at a time.

Some digging on MAL points to there being big production issues with a few of the GGO:A episodes that already aired getting outsourced. That might explain why the action choreography became awful but who knows.

Also I'm not sure I've heard it brought up here but in my searching for that I came across the fact that promised neverland is supposedly getting an anime. Hearing you guys talk about the manga makes me excited to see it.

I saw some key animators listed that were supposed to be on that anime I think. No idea if it's accurate or speculation or what.

Watched episode 5 of wotakoi and its the one show from this season that is holding strong for me. It's actually gone in reverse. I thought I might drop it while watching the first and second episode but its gotten steadily better and I enjoy it a lot. It's yet another anime where people play monster hunter briefly and I'm always happy to see it.

Watched the new eps of megalo box and wotakoi. Not sure how I feel about the megalo box episode. Guess I'll have to wait and see where they go from here. A little strange the guy even bothered tried to avoid fighting Joe, talk about no confidence.

Wotakoi on the other hand is still pretty great. I'll be sad when it ends.

It's basically Shounen Tropes: The Manga.

I tried reading it, but it was so painfully generic that I gave up around the 40 chapter mark.

To be fair though, it did have its cool moments here and there so I can see how it would appeal to the young boys demographic it's actually targeted to.

Haven't been watching any animu for a while. Watching Spartacus right now and playing Granblue still and some Watch Dogs.

This is the first time I've been able to actually participate in one of these xeno weapon events in Granblue. Actually managed to get all of the weapon copies I wanted and the mats to fully upgrade them. Just slowed down a bit by the lack of skill fodder, but it's nice to be able to have full versions of the weapons for once.

I suspect the main annoyance of Black Clover is that people (e.g. the staff at Crunchyroll) keep trying to push it as the Next Big Thing when it does nothing innovative to deserve that spot.

Oh damn, I forgot that Strange Journey Redux came out this week!

Thankfully (or not), it looks like it doesn't come with any pre-order bonuses, so I haven't missed out on anything.

Though it does seem strange since Atlus usually puts in goodies or a special launch edition for their games. Wonder why they didn't do it for this one?

Black clover is a shit manga as far as I'm aware but the adaption makes it even worse. I remember several youtube videos about it when it was first coming out. We could change it with golden kamui which is certainly performing under expectations and has some pretty bad cgi. It's not so horrible but I think the first episode was legit bad and killed a lot of hype.

This season has the most confusing MAL scores for me out of any season in recent memory. Generally my opinion lines up fairly closely with MAL scores with some exceptions but this month I just have no idea. Megalo box being an almost 8.5 is crazy to me. Almost nothing has even happened in it. It's not bad exactly just I have no idea why thats highly rated. Tokyo ghoul 3 is another confusing thing. It's pretty awful IMO. I was trying to like it but it feels like poor fanfiction or something. I will note that its score is dropping but its still like 7.85. Then we got new LotGH sitting at just under 7.6 when I expected it to be near a 9 just by name alone. As far as I'm aware it's not a bad remake either but I haven't started watching it myself.

Depending on the audience that a show attracts, its MAL score will reflect based on how that audience rates things.

What's going on with anime games?

From what I've gleaned, steam no likes sexual nudity in games, and says it must be censored or else it won't be on steam. No idea if that means no uncensoring options/mods/fixes are allowed.

Yeah ironically one of the games they are targeting is lesbian ghosts, the game they specifically reviewed and said was fine for steam without the need of an uncensor patch. Complete 180 from them. Saw some topics mentioning how some anti porn hardliner group was supposedly behind this. On the other hand I can barely find any information about this at all. To me this makes no sense for steam to do.

I'm quite pissed if this sticks. Pretty sure stuff like witcher 3 isn't being touched, just anime style stuff. I almost wonder if its actually true and not some kind of prank/some steam email got hacked or something. I would expect if something like this were true there would be an official announcement and probably a ton of discussion but I couldn't find shit.

They backpedalled within a day, it was evidently an internal miscommunication. They say they're still reviewing the games but it sounds way less dire now. Rooftop lesbian ghosts is most likely safe since they were extra careful when getting it onto steam initially and that's the only one I'm extra protective of. Huniepop is meh.
