Tactics ogre is very similar to FFT. I don't particularly remember it being that hard but it's been a while. Just like FFT:WOTL the PSP tactics ogre has a very compelling story that is somewhat similar. You can also grind like a madman in both games which I very much like. Not being able to grind always stresses me out in fire emblem games which is why I like 8 the best (since you can grind in that one).

I watched eps 2 and 3 of golden kamuy. It's decent enough i suppose. The action is sufficiently brutal but I don't feel like it's taking advantage of animation. I feel like they just copied the manga scenes into the anime. Hopefully that improves. The relationship between the two mains is enjoyable. Suigimoto is pretty well adjusted for someone thats been through such brutal combat.

I saw you pulled a Lucifer too, congrats. I'm working on unlocking 4th tier jobs and glorybringer right now. Need one more upgrade on my Aschallon. I sparked a week ago and it went pretty well, even though I had below average rates for SSR draws. I really want to build primal light now, but I'm short on some stuff.

Haha, good luck. I'm just trying for 4 bows and maybe 4 axes if I'm not too lazy.

I sparked like a week ago and drew 2 edens, Zeus, and got Lucio & Seruel, which is what sparked my interest in primal light. I also got my first 3 star Lumi sword and haven't touched the 8 in the pendant shop. The only problem, is that I've only got 3 dama bars, and 3 sunstones right now. I'm also short on light crystal and urns, so that's basically preventing me from diving right in to the primal light team. Luminiera has been weird for drops for me. She's dropped me 3 swords and 3 of her summon. Meanwhile, Celeste has never dropped a claw or summon for me.

@agesboy keep your sanity and get those spears.

I'd hold onto the dama for now. Edens are fantastic, but fundamentally the difference between magna and primal light isn't big, and requires multiple dama'd weapons (edens and gambanteinns) plus a larger than normal cache of FLB chev swords to not be a joke.

It's definitely worth looking into when you can buy those store chev swords and get 3 more dama. But dama is a big decision to make. I still haven't used the vast majority of mine.

Yeah, I've been holding off, but they're so shiny. D: If I can get another eden or a gamba down the line, I'll definitely jump into primal light. Hopefully we get gifted a sunstone during golden week, so I can start saving for the next summon uncap. If I had 6 stones, I'd uncap Zeus and Lucifer, but with only 3, it's hard to pick one and I don't want to rush, so I'll stare at them with my edens and be patient lol.

How do you get tons of tickets for 44 boxes btw? I wouldn't mind burning some berries, since I'm sitting at 4446 of them atm. Also, once again, good luck with 44 boxing.

You never run double primal in light, so just uncap Lucifer if you have both and send friend requests to people with Zeus. It'll also let you switch back to magna build if you need the extra HP.

FLB Lucifer is a GIGANTIC stat pool with an amazing call that literally every light player doesn't mind seeing in their support list. Double Lucifer isn't even super mega terrible compared to double Chev or double Zeus.

Burst down EX+ in one turn, over and over and over and over.... 40+ boxing is always going to take 1200+ half elixirs no matter how you slice it. You can cut down on that a bit with berries but imo it's way more beneficial to throw berries at farming raids during magfests. 3k~ berries can get you a beginner f2p agni, varuna (if you already have at least one flb fenrir bow), or titan grid.

Once I get closer to the end I'll start spamming nightmares especially if I find people to duo with. Honestly the bigger hurdle in 40 boxing is the 500 silver certificates for me. >_>

The wiki has a chart for token efficiency, if you want to take a look at it. Basically though, solo EX+ and join highest nightmare possible are the "easiest" efficient ways to go about it. https://gbf.wiki/Unite_and_Fight/April_2018

Ugh, looking at Lucifer's 4 star uncap mats. 100 primarch anima seems annoying. On the bright side though, farming them should help get some silver centrums at least, which is good, since the 3 I have now are needed elsewhere. The only good argument I've seen for uncapping Zeus, is that he's a lot more rare to find as a friend summon. It is going to take me a good chunk of time to get my primal light grid going though, so I'll probably uncap Lucifer first, but I'll wait until golden week to make my final decision. See what they give us there.

I'm getting closer to unlocking 4th tier jobs and glorybringer too. Just need to get 8 distinctions, 120 sword stones, and 78 corrow anima. The distinctions are the hold up of course. Will likely just end up waiting for the monthly reset to ele change my aschallon to light. Also working on my ten wolf gun aqua. I think I'm on the third upgrade for it. Just one supreme merit and 7 high water orbs short of this upgrade. Might actually have an eternal one of these days. Tien is my least need for characters, but I figure if I play long enough, I'll end up going for them all, so I may as well try to get what I can when I can.

Yeah GGO:A is looking to be solid and land of the lustrous is certainly an awesome and unique show. We better get a season 2 of it.

I watched ep 2 of hinamatsuri and it's definitely got a similar comedy style to saiki. The ending of episode 2 wasn't quite what I was expecting but it was hilarious.

I'm not sure if I'll watch LotGH. The original is a contender for my all time favorite anime but knowing that the new one is covering the same story means AT LEAST 60 episodes before it concludes and I should probably wait for then.

Shokugeki no soma will probably be grandfathered into marathon watching for me so I'll hold off till the season is done. BnH on the other hand I might as well watch whenever. I don't particularly love the show as a whole but it's entertaining enough to watch at least.

Might as well watch Stiens;Gate 0, FMP:IV and tokyo ghoul:re. I'm surprised to see tokyo ghoul:re fairing so well with how both anime seasons are looked back on now. I guess I'll find whatever they are doing right soon enough.

I also realized I never finished the newer seasons of DRRR so I should do that. I wasn't very interested in the first part of the new seasons but I heard the other 2 parts were much better and I quite liked the original series.

Problem is...I don't wanna watch things right now. i wanna play games but I can't find anything that I want to play. Frustrating.

DRRR has a 24 episode first season and then a broken up 3 cour second season. I was counting all 3 cours as seperate seasons since they were released separately.

Anyway I can't believe hinamatsuri had such a long and awesome bartender (anime) reference in episode 3. That was awesome.

rose queen too (3 of a guaranteed drop can be traded in for any distinction). they die fast these days as long as people actually contribute

I was in a titan lobby for like 30 rounds last night and not one damn sm distinction dropped. :( I can contribute somewhat to Rose Queen kills, but I'm not strong enough to carry a raid though. Never been in one that failed though, so that's good. Got a wand and sword since I needed an ex weapon for fire and water. Don't have any dirt ex weapon either, but I'm not trying to work on my dirt right now. It's busted as hell and I'm at r114, so I may as well go for a omega 2 dirt grid. Probably just wait for the month to change to change my aschallon, but might do some Rose Queens in the meantime.

Seconding all of the recommendations for the PSP remake of the original Tactics Ogre. It is, IMO, the best RPG in the tactics-based sub-genre, hands down, no contest. It can be difficult, but the remake corrects a number of issues (e.g. you no longer have to go into training mode and have your units pelt each other with rocks to level up before the next map). The story? Great. The characters? Great, barring several optional units. The game play? Fantastic, though it is considerably more complicated than, say, FFT. Protip: Archers are godly, and are not necessarily limited by their displayed attack range.

Oh hey, I was looking through my uh, psp game folder, and saw a game I forgot about. It's called growlanser wayfarer of time and it was another really good SRPG. It was also pretty damn hard IIRC but solidly good.

I think I might actually go back and play tactics ogre: let us cling together. As much as I loved it, I did burn out before finishing it.

On the anime front started rewatching FMP so I can watch the new season live. It's been about a decade since I saw it the first time. I'm half way through the first season and it holds up pretty well. It's like a silly version of gundam 00 in a lot of ways (child soldier protag, mechs, world peacekeeping unaffiliated organization).

SOA is hot trash but I like the Mother's Rosario arc, in game at least.

Also enjoying the manga form of SOA: Progressive. The artist really likes drawing Asuna and the elf lady.

If you mean Urushihara, yes, it is him, and he has done ... works, so to speak. Unfortunately, he is more or less retired, these days, on account of failing eyesight.

That being said, I absolutely recommend any Growlanser game, and Wayfarer of Time (the fourth game) is one of the best.

I was thinking of reading the Log Horizon novels, since I really enjoyed the anime and it seems the LN has started getting released again, but I heard the French version was awful and full of typos. Is the English localization any better?

Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken
Which translates to :
"That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime"

After being killed by a passing robber, a normal 37-year-old guy find himself reincarnated in another world as a blind slime with unique skills. With a new name "Rimuru Tempest" he got after meeting his new friend, the "catastrophe level" Storm Dragon Verudora, he starts his slime life in another world with his increasing number of minions.

BLIND SLIME

Emphasis on the blind. I've heard someone describe the details of that early on in the story, was certainly interesting. I wonder how it keeps it interesting.
