taking my money. I tried to hand them my card when they gave me my drinks, and they didnt take it. Then they were talking to each other and laughing and stuff, which is fine no big deal, and then they hand me my food and say have a good night and the window closes and Im sitting there like okay...

And I drove away.

Actually in long lines.......I mean....someone could just drive past the pay window and pick up someone else's food. I wonder if anyone has ever done that.

Probably... the problem is they might find out. I think they can change the order of the meals using the screens. They're always looking at them. Maybe it tells them if someone paid or not, as well... But Idk...

there have been a lot of times when they started to hand me someone else's order. but otherwise, it would be hard to do that intentionally, since you'd have to get passed the payment window without paying.

And they could have done the one of two things they are supposed to do.. take the money and give me the food.

Is what I did wrong? Maybe. Do I feel bad? No.. no I do not

One time I ordered pizza for pickup and the employee just came around the counter and gave me my pizza before Id paid. Got like halfway back to my house before I realized.

It's happened before. But they just say it's fine when I tell them... And just let me keep the food for free...

i saw a homeless person steal an order from a starbucks drivethrough once.

was at the corner waiting at a redlight, saw them walking up the drivethrough and knew what they were about to do. sure enough they grabbed the persons order and ran when it was handed out the window

If you need weights, go to Wal-Mart. Put the weights on the dumbbell bar with the UPC stickers facing into each other (four ten pound weights) and carry it like that to the checkout. Last time I did this the lady scanned the dumbbell bar and I got 40lbs of weights for the price of the bar alone.

The cashier is definitely at fault for not paying attention but you know they don't make much and in all likelihood that probably came out of their pay

I've never worked fast food unless although I did work at Panera a few years back (but never as a cashier). Pretty sure the order is still processed in the system though and their drawer probably came up short at the end of the night
