No but that's not what I'm doing. I think the show has devoted more effort to developing the personalities of its main characters and the relationships between them than it has to setting up comedic gags.

Attack on Titan was good at the start. A certain twist murdered my interest in the show though.

I don't really have a choice in regards to watching Titan.

I'm not gonna get riled about anything! I'm fully aware of what's to come, I'm just so over the direction the Titan story went in that I've surpassed being angry about it and now it's just funny how bad it gets, and I'm wondering whether anger or humor will take over the anime only watcher's general reaction.

I've got no reason to be annoyed at people liking Titan, S2 was fantastic after all. A season like that would trick anyone into being excited. People were excited for Psycho-Pass 2, too.

They fucked with some of the progression in Titan S2 to make it work better as an anime, though, so maybe they'll do the same for this. WIT is a competent studio for the most part.

I've started watching Aria. Usually I wait until I'm done a series before commenting on it but this has roughly fifty episodes and I don't want to wait that long. I'm enjoying it so far but it hasn't truly impressed me yet, especially compared to other slow-paced SoL shows I've seen. The world-building has been really clumsy (like, Akari talked about the planet's history for no reason since everyone she was talking to already knew it. That said this did get better in episode three when there was an actual reason for her to talk about those floating islands). All the characters having similar names is also bugging me (Akari, Akira, Aika, Alice, Alicia... I literally had to look up the main characters name earlier because it hasn't sunk in yet). I'm enjoying the various similarities this series has to Amanchu (yay silly faces for silly moments!) but this still feels like a weaker prototype of the later series so far. I hope it gets better as it goes on (which I assume it will since the rankings of the later seasons improve among my B8 friends on MAL).

Also I've been wondering this since Amanchu but seeing a normal cat alongside it in this series made it stand out even more. Why does Aria the cat look like a weird monster?

Most people disliked the overuse of SD faces in Amanchu, IIRC. Other than that the biggest negative is all the dumb nicknames.

I guess I'll take this chance and call out the people who hate the puppet faces in Amanchu as dumb for taking something thats meant to be its own unique cuteness and apparently kill the otherwise great themes of the show.
