I'm not sure one, or even a few, P5 songs really seperate themselves from the pack. You've got: Rivers in the Desert, Life Will Change, The Whims of Fate, Blooming Villain, Will Power, The Days When My Mother Was There, Sunset Bridge, Regret, Beneath the Mask -Rain-, and probably even a few others all clustered together.

But they're blown out by the top tier of the P4 and especially P3 OSTs.

I liked the instrumental version of Life Will Change more than I did the voiced version.

Persona 4 had by far the weakest soundtrack.

Eh. OSTs would go: P3 >>> P4 > P5 to me, I think.

I would say that Persona 3 and 4 have far better better soundtracks than 5, but I also think the two songs I mentioned (and no others from 5) are right up there with the top tier of 3 and 4.

I have a hard time picking between 3 and 5 as the best. They both have really good soundtracks. But 4? 4 can go sit at the bottom.

P3 >>> P4 >>> P5 = most game soundtracks

Persona 3 an actual greatest OST of of all time contender for me.

Mass Destruction is just too good.

About the only 4 song that I really really liked was Heartbeat Heartbreak. But even then, 3 and 5s chill music was much better. 4s battle music was all really bad too.

Hmm, Blooming Villain works pretty well in game, and it's a solid song overall, but it's not something I'd listen to on its own.

Reach Out for the Truth and Your Affection rule, as far as P4 music goes.

overstays its welcome way too much. not good enough to be the map theme for 90% of the game. It's kind of like Reach Out to the Truth in that regard to me. (lol i think i started avoiding battle advantage on purpose in golden for time to make history)

...Yeah, IIRC. Way better song, IMO. But P3P generally improves on whatever song its replacing everywhere. Mass Destruction/Wiping All Out might be the one exception but it's still really close, and Wiping All Out's great so it's still cool.

But man, you got Way of Life, Time, Danger Zone (though Master of Tartarus also good), Tender Feeling, Soul Phrase (again Burn My Dread/P3FES excellent so this is basically a draw but omg dat op)

Every song I've heard from P5 (that is, every song in this contest) sounds... catchy/groovy/80's vibe at best; but it's pretty much nothing special as far as videogames' OSTs goes. It also doesn't help that most vocal songs from P5 sound pretty similar.

Welcome to how I've felt the last 11 contests with P3 and P4. By contrast, I actually don't mind some of P5. I'd rather it not be Last Surprise though, thanks.
