Omega Labyrinth Z, a combination of two of my favorite things (roguelike and oppai), got the axe for its localization.

I read about it. The publisher could have been braver, but chose not to be. Unfortunate. Never be afraid to cater to your niche!

I finally started Boku no Pico Academia, since everyone is talking about it lately. I've been wanting to check it out for a while though.

It reminds me a fair bit of Kenichi, the way the protagonist is a good-hearted guy with no talent whatsoever being trained by the best in the world.

Psychedelica of the Ashen Hawk, possibly the last Vita release (unless you count the Muv-Luv physical copies from the 2015 Kickstarter), is happening tomorrow. Going to make certain I get it.

Well I guess it was bound to happen eventually; I was at. A bookstore and saw a manga about a transgender romance. It looked cute enough, and the back cover made me laugh.

I just rewatched the first 1 1/3rds seasons of durarara and finally watched the rest of it for the first time. It is one of a kind, even baccano isn't really that similar. However, I think I liked the first season the best. Things were a lot more balanced in it. The second season was still good, and probably more engaging, but not as interesting IMO. I also feel like mikado was just never interesting. The show tried to build him up so much but it just always felt like bullshit. I don't think they did a good job with his character past the first season.

Everyone else was pretty great though. I wish the orihara sisters got more screen time. Was happy with the brief yuri fanservice they brought as well as the other yuri fanservice with erika and anri. Izaya (especially in the dub) is probably my favorite villain in anime. A truly interesting character. I feel like he has a lot people can empathize with which makes him so compelling despite being obviously evil. He's a bad guy you sometimes can't help but root for and when you see him terrorizing someone thats not in the main cast you can't help but enjoy it.

Finished the second girl after story in Labyrinth of Grisaia. Still planning on doing the main route last. After the main girl routes, there's 2 other things on the story selection list, one is h stuff and the other is labeled short stories. Then last, is the grand route about the mc's past. I remember some of it from when I watched the anime they made before, but not most of it.

Anybody here played through all 3 of the Grisaia main games? Not sure if I'll do Eden immediately after Labyrinth, but definitely plan to go through it.

Ther first one did take a pretty good amount of time to get through. I think the second and third are shorter though. Was doing the individual girl after stories in order, but don't want to end on Sachi, so I'm doing hers next.

I started watching Recovery of an MMO Junkie yesterday; it's really cute, and again the protagonist reminds me of myself (although not in such a painful way as Tomoko from Watamote does). The fact that she's older adds to it too.

Just realized Saiki K s2 is on NFI so watching that now. Humorously went on Gamefaqs to note this and proceeded to get sidetracked for the last 90 minutes or so >_>

Also, I guess I could have watched it on another service before now but... idk, NFI is more convenient and I like to wait until the whole thing is up.

Well, quiet Saturday so I binged Saiki K and now I'm sad because I'm out of Saiki K. Probably going to read the manga at some point.

Did Daisuki handle the sub differently? Because NFI's lack of translated kanji still really pisses me off.

Oh. I did recall the first season being longer. On the plus side, Saiki has limited running continuity and nothing resembling a cliffhanger so it's one of the few shows where only catching half a season doesn't bug me.

dang so you are way past me already (just finished Episode 3).
Felt like it was a bit slow to get going but then we got some juicy bits with it revealingGowther is a doll. I hope the power level stuff isnt showing to be to shoneny for my friends.

IIRC, Daisuki did not sub the kanji, either. It had readable subs, but no extra effort.

Academia really does remind me a lot of Kenichi, so much so that it fills the gap from its cancelation nicely. That first season was unbelievable.

I also finished MMO Junkie. The amount of contrived coincidences bringing Mori and Sakurai together became ridiculous. But it was adorable the whole ride through. And Mori's similarities to me got me thinking a little bit about myself too, and feel like I want to take some kind of step forward too.

I'm not even sure what exactly it is; I was thinking about how I said I'd like a career in conventions, but that doesn't seem realistic to just jump right into. But I want to change something, because I'm just plain tired of being the same person I've been for years now and I want to have something I can feel good about or be proud of.

For the best experience I'd recommend watching Fate/Zero first and Fate/Unlimited Blade Works after and if you can search around to find it I'd also recommend watching the first movie of Fate/Heavens Feel too, it's all good stuff.

Also I don't recommend watching any of the spin-off stuff like Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya or Fate/Apocrypha though because it's all, in my not-so-humble opinion, hot trash

Through 4 of the girls' after stories in Labyrinth of Grisaia, just have Makina's left to do and then the other two side story parts and I can get to the grand route finally. Also, been watching Golden Kamuy. I'm liking it, even with the derpy bears.

Just finished up watching GGO. The ending was pretty awful and theres really no reason to bother-IS WHAT I WOULD HAVE SAID. That last scene before the credits though! All worth it. Pito best girl even though I hated her up till this episode. Now my thoughts are mixed. In a lot of ways its worse than the original SAO and maybe even the original GGO but on the other hand, its not trying nearly as hard and, well, you know...

Only have 1 episode left of comic girls but I've been putting it off cause I don't want it to be over.

Also played some ecchi games like huniepop (only like 2 bucks on steam sale) and another of the sakura games (which I got without paying because winged cloud is an evil company that does not deserve money).

Got the last episode of megalo box left to watch but I just really don't care. I guess I'll watch it. Also will go ahead and knock out that yuri triangle short anime cause why not, I'm already yuri trash anyway.

Wish I had a really good long jrpg to get invested into.

Yeah, I'll make a point of never supporting Winged Cloud. Even when I got some of those Sakura games from Humble Bundle, I made sure none of the money went to them.

It's all such a shame cause I'm actually a sucker for the few games I've played. Sakura Gamer especially. Nothing special really but despite it seeming generic I can't find anything else that offers what it does.

I still need to finish up the first one. I've unlocked everyone but venus and slept with like 8 of em. Also props to the game for letting me play as a girl character for that sweet yuri even if theres no direct scenes anyway so it doesn't make much difference. Huniepop 2 supposedly is in development though.

Still boycotting Winged Cloud here, too. Granted, I already have most of their stuff, but, after I found out the truth about them, I stopped buying it.

I do not know if Huniepot will be able to get the original Huniepop artist back for any sequels, though, since Dharker Studios is basically up his ass at this point. (Seriously, it's like he's doing every single game for them now, barring the ones Nick Beja is doing.)

I'm definitely watching Prisma Illya. The sheer goofiness of what little I saw a few years back had me hooked. Only issue is that I'd actually need to hunt for that one whereas a lot of the other stuff is pretty readily available.

Theres really not much art needed for huniepop so I wouldn't be surprised if the old artist could squeeze it into his schedule especially since the first game has kinda become a big deal.

It's a shame the whole thing doesn't do much for me sexually. A single hentai image of each girl is just kinda meh since theres no story behind any of it. Kinda reminds me of those old sex kitten sim date flash games. The comedy though made the whole game totally worth it. Most of the characters are great. i love the teacher, kyu, and audrey the most probably (although I'd never want to be anywhere near her for real). Momo is nice cause I love catgirls and all but shes really nothing special so far. The alien was nice. Oh and the puzzle game is actually totally fun too. The active items (date gifts) really shake it up.

The only thing that bugs me about Comic Girls is that Kaos looks almost exactly like one of the girls from Doki Doki Literature Club, and I keep wondering if that was intentional.
