I didn't rewatch the first season and figured I'd remember quickly. I didn't. Absolutely no clue what was going on for like 2 episodes. I mostly remember now though. Especially if they don't even try to make up an ending and wind up with no closure at all; at least if they make their own ending then they're actually making an effort. I should have guessed by the length of the manga, but the two shows I'm watching right now, Btooom and After the Rain, are just one season long so they can't cover the whole story. In the last year or so it actually feels like we get more full adaptations (or at least season 2 or even 3s) then previously. I'm with you though, nothing more frustrating than running out of episodes with no conclusion. I still prefer that to horrible endings but it's very frustrating. I wish everyone would take the stance shaft has with monogatari where they intend to adapt it forever until its done. Shaft is pretty great overall really. I may be misremembering but I think they were committed to going all in from the beginning even before it started printing money. It's still a mystery to me how that show has wide spread appeal. Grand Blue is about college kids, and everything that entails. (ie, lots and lots and lots of alcohol) Just a heads up though, it got picked up by crunchyroll so fan scans only go up to around chapter 40. (Mercifully, it still had two months left on the warranty, so a replacement is incoming.) The only mobage for which I did not lose my data is Fire Emblem Heroes. So ... FGO is gone. Memoria Freese is gone. SMT Liberation Dx2 is gone. Star Ocean: Anamnesis is gone. A whole lot of time and effort is gone. FML. I'll probably stop on whatever arc seems to be the last completed one and then get back to it after the season ends. The show kinda bums me out. I am not even slightly interested in super heroes or villains and I generally don't like shonen. The fact that this show is so well executed ends up feeling like such a waste. It's still enjoyable, but if it had an entirely different premise with this quality it could have been one of my favorites. Oh well.
