an C. MS and Bethesda were good. Sony was okay. They and Nintendo missed out on alot of titles and potential.
Ubi was meh. AC:O looks good but it's back to AC beinf yearly which burns me out tbh plus I wanted Feudal Japan AC.

Sony didn't have fighters(which will probably be at EVO), FF7 (I want FF8 remake) Shenmue 3.
Nintendo didn't have animal crossing, No More Heroes 3, a good pokemon game(like stadium) Metroid Prime 4, Earthbound, FZero.
Still want King K Rool in Smash so I'm hoping.

D- on average... not only were the games not interesting, but the presentations were really weird.

And twice when the presenter said "and no lootboxes" the audience cheered, like sheep.

No Animal Crossing, Metroid or Final Fantasy.

Death Stranding looks cool.

Overall disappointing.

Cheering for good news isn't being sheep. Was it twice for the same game though, because that's a little overboard.

B+

I'm excited for Battletoads, DMC5, Nioh 2, Cyberpunk, Assassin's Creed, and Madden on PC.

There's other games that I'm either cautiously optimistic about or intrigued by, such as Babylon's Fall and Sekiro and others.

There's games that while I'm not specifically hyped about, look great, like KH3. I do look forward to playing that sometime, especially with it being on PC and all.

And then there's stuff that I'd be excited about if there was any point to it. I'm not going to spend the next however many years with ESVI on my mind. Remind me about it when we actually have footage of the game itself.

However, in spite of all of this, I still feel like there were quite a few missed opportunities. Like, where the hell is Mortal Kombat? Nothing of Soulcalibur VI? Or the Spyro remake trilogy?

On top of that, a lot of presentations were just outright awful. Even with AC: Odyssey looking great, by the time we finally got to that portion of the show, I was just sick of Ubisoft and their bullshit.

Sony's format was weird and didn't seem well-thought out. On top of that, when they finished, I didn't feel fulfilled. I felt like there was more we should've seen.

Squeenix similarly left me feeling empty, but they didn't waste any time. They got their presentation over and done with in a swift half hour and the new Babylon IP looks promising. I know everyone hated their presentation, but I give them points for it, due to the format and no bullshit. I think everyone, myself included, just wanted more.

Bethesda was decent. They had a lot of stuff to show off, but.... they didn't really show it off. They spent more time telling us about it, than anything and even then, they didn't really say anything of a whole lot of importance. They had good content, but they needed more show and less tell.

You'll have to be specific. The biggest news is DMC5 and a RE2 remake.

The next Fallout is an MMO, but it looks like it has some sort of promise.

ESVI is confirmed and will likely have an actual trailer in 2035.

Souls-like is starting to become it's own genre. We saw at least four new games that emulate the style, 3 of them being set in Feudal Japan. Nioh 2 is one of those games.

I came away being hyped over two games, the Spider-man and PS4 samurai game. That's two more than last year!

Yeah, a C

Nintendo unfortunately dropped the ball making MS the winners

Sony was just horrible, no follow up on the titles announced last year which got them acclaim.. (2017 do over?)

My highlight - Star Fox trailer for StarLink during Ubisoft

I only tuned into Nintendo's proper, and while the Smash hype level is high, and FE, the IP, and the rest generally looked good, no further MP4 showing or any other big surprises definitely feels like a bit of a let down. Then again, Nintendo tends to make separate big announcements on their directs anymore, so them not coming out swinging at E3 is typical anymore.

I just saw the game announcements for the rest. There wasn't a lot that personally excited me, but it seems there's overall decent variety.

Solid B-.

REmake 2, Sekiro, Anthem, Death Stranding and Ori 2 were the highlights. Some interesting teasers in FO76, Halo Infinite and Gears 5.

New Smash (lol Ridley meme) and KH3 were the letdowns.

D. I'd have given it an F, considering less than 50% of it seemed at least mildly interesting, but it did accomplish a few things. First off, I'm hyped for three games I was originally going to pass on. Second, they revealed a new FromSoftware game, which is always such a delight, especially now that 4K TV prices are dropping and I don't have to be so worried about throwing my controller through my screen. Finally, KINGDOM FLIPPIN' HEARTS 3!

Otherwise, not a decent E3 IMO.

Youre hyped about three games but gave it a D? I'd say e3 won you over if it got you excited at all.

Pretty bad. Not many surprise announcements and a lot of things were "announced" with no information or any hope of a release for several years.

I give it a 70

Microsoft showed off a good amount of stuff, really looking forward to DMC5, Battletoads, and Sekiro. They focused on games and that's what I like to see at E3. Good stuff from them, wish we had more footage, but that's what happens when you go out there with 50 games in 2 hours.

Bethesda kinda sucked on the whole, but I'm happy to hear that Starfield is next in line and Doom Eternal is gonna be a day-1 for me. Still wondering what the fuck was up with "Here's a generic forest, TES VI: We Literally Don't Have A Subtitle Because We Haven't Started Development Yet" The skit was funny as hell, turns out Alexa edition is real.

Sony was poop. I did watch some Spiderman footage after the fact though, and it looks fun, but pretty repetitive IMO. TLOU and similar games have always been a hard pass for me.

Nintendo was pretty lukewarm, though Daemon X Machina looks rad as fuck and Smash news is always good news. Same qualms that most people had though, points off for no Metroid Prime 4 or Animal Crossing updates.
