I honestly have no clue, but probably Tressa, Therion, or Primrose. Alfyn's too love-or-hate, nobody cares about H'aanit, Olberic and Ophelia are decent but overshadowed, and Cyrus kinda gets overlooked.

I'd go with Tressa myself, maybe throw in Primrose if the contest has a lot of characters. Still don't think any of them would be above high fodder, though, as the game seems pretty niche on GameFAQs.

ME1 got 45% on a Smash game, ME2 got eviscerated by an MGS game. If you set the two equal then MGS3 gets like 56% on Smash 4...actually that doesn't sound so unreasonable TBH.

Other than that, it's hard to say. We had basically everyone with even a little strength in CBIX, so we'd need a surprise new character to capture the hearts of thousands of voters...

The Octopath characters feel like they will be a good step down in popularity relative to Xenoblade 2 characters and I don't expect much from the Xenoblade 2 cast. Being an ensemble cast will hurt everyone in Octopath.

I'll be honest, I'd fully expect Waluigi to win.

Though my predictions have been better in traditional contests than rallies where anyone can win. I might still go with the Waluigi victory though since I think it's still recent enough that he'll get some love from the complete fucking internet.

Yes, both of them will get a Guru nom for this contest since the 2017 contest didn't have a nomination process.

BKSheikah was the one who was considering Aqua from Kingdom Hearts, but I don't take that as direct confirmation of his Guru choice. We'll have to wait for BKSheikah to post a topic to confirm his Guru choice.

im going to guess the contest will be 1v1 with 4 matches a day

in hopes that quick matches will crush rallies

but the low votals may make things even easier for rallies

idk but it would be cool if we got a 256 character bracket with tons of 1v1 matches to celebrate 10 years of history
