Chris wondered what was going on. He felt strange, different. Almost as if someone that wasn't himself was directing this passage. Probably because someone was!

What was their intent? Were they planning to usurp him? Or perhaps they had something far more sinister in hand? Chris paced around in the void, desperately figuring out the answer. Until suddenly...

"Umm...."

Chris quickly turned around to see a cloaked figure. How did he sneak up on him like that?

"What do you want?" Chris asked, calmly trying to scope out the situation.

"Well I don't know how this flavor is supposed to go and I didn't want to just put nothing so..."

"Oh just put whatever. Who gives a f-"

"Alright, gotta go bye!" the cloaked figured interrupted before he ran away.

UNIQUE GAME RULES:

All standard mafia rules that do not contradict with these still apply. If you need clarification on any of THOSE, you may PM me at any time.

Firstly, at the end of the game every player who is not disqualified (modkilled) will submit to me who they believe are the top 3 players of the game are. I want this to become an institution of board 8 that will have some sort of reward at some point, although not on a per game basis. I want there to be more to the game than merely winning or losing, because there are a host of circumstances that play this out. This could be a scum who went all the way or a player who scum had to kill night one because they were simply overwhelming in their effort. Like all things mafia, I ask (but will not hold anyone to this) that you not be purely results based.

Secondly, a MAJOR RULE SHIFT from how Board 8 has done it in the past is how deadlines work. The deadline for voting will be, as an example, 10:30 PM EST however no stop will be posting and players may continue to post for an additional fifteen minutes after the deadline has passed, they simply cannot vote. However, because of the fact that this fifteen minutes is bonus time any posts after exactly 10:45 PM EST will result in an AUTOMATIC modkill with no discretion being given.

Thirdly, this game will be the tiniest bit open setup. I have seen this done before and everyone pre-game knows the following things:

1. This is a TOWN VS MAFIA setup: there is absolutely no role which is independent or acts to the sole detriment of their faction.

2. The Mafia Team has exactly 6 members. No need to guess, the number is 6.

3. The flavor and the setup have nothing to do with one another. Flavor was randomized to the roles. Songs for mafia were picked at random, but they were also given a safelist if they so desire.

4. There are no roles which function based off of flavor.

5. You cannot summarize or talk about your flavor at all. You may only provide your song and details about your role.

Rule 5 is why Zam claiming he couldnt give it was the nail in the coffin for me.

He could have dropped a song. He didnt. That was enough with his scummy actions earlier that led to the claim for me to be all but certain.

I just dont get the logic behind thinking Me, Zach, as scum, would push for Zam that hard and pressure him to claim when I could have kept fucking around with Han who was very clearly still hard for me (and I was a lil hard for him too), or argue with Tony, or even get in on arguing with Scare or something

Corrik, why do you think it's a logical point to bring up the idea that you wouldn't tell Zam to claim scum if you were his teammate when you just got a refresher in Blade mafia that being scum doesn't mean your teammates can't pull stunts that you wouldn't want them to (thanks MZero)? You wouldn't be able to stop him from doing it if he wanted to, if anything telling him what to do would be more likely to make him do something else just to prove a point that he won't be pushed around or something.

I like the case Ben tried to build against Scare, although it doesn't really convince me (reasonable enough for Scare to figure it out and try to move on quickly as town). It's a good look for Ben that he was trying to use the twilight phase to go after someone he perceived as scum that was going to ride his role in the Zam lynch to safety though.

It feels like Red has been strangely irrelevant in this game, he's barely done anything.

You say that in a typical game, it is "pointless" to continue any discussion when the lynch is set.

Why then are people scum for not putting in effort in twilight here?

After Zam told us he was scum, I didnt want to waste my vote on him and wanted to pressure someone else, and I went back to that note from Scare since you were still not contributing. I was not aware you were busy IRL, and I see that you're not trying to coast on the sidelines anymore, so I don't have a reason anymore to pursue you on that. And yes I think the wedding explanation makes more sense than the alternative that you are scum and the single vote from me got you to change strategy >.> (Because you coincidentally came back to the game within an hour of me voting you)

Corrik, you literally arent going to like any answer I give you because you genuinely believe every single townie should have dropped their vote on Zam.

You can tell me after the game that I made a bad play if youd like, but I just didnt believe his claim for several reasons, including lack of flavor. So I didnt change my vote.

I want to know why you feel lynching claimed town power on the day you have the least information, where they are set up usually to have to provide information which can hang them later, and when usually unclaimeds are so abundant that it is basically suicide for a lot of roles to be claimed at that spot... is a good idea?

Oh yeah good question because I meant to mention it after Scare answered the question. I thought that it was odd Scare gave me that information and had been leaving it alone for the most part. Like he told me, but didnt vote Corrik or try to get the other players on board. So at the time of voting Corrik I did have him and Scare linked as potential scum and wanted to vote Corrik while I waited for Scare's reply to my question.

Also been on my mind while at work. When zam said he was vanilla he said hes not what town was looking for or something along those lines. Curious who made comments in regards to what they thought zam might flip because he may have actually been referring to someone in particular.
