Man, screw RNG. I had two runs of the power cryst cave today with 0 Giancryst drops. I need tons of the damn things, and they just refuse to drop. Meanwhile most of the other crysts I needed, where it was Alcrysts I was short on, dropped 2 rather consistently during my runs.

Desire sensor is strong, and Im glad Im done farming this time around. I want to enhance Reberta just because, but Im missing so many TMRs for dragoons anyway that I shouldnt be rushing her.

I wound up getting Seabreeze Dark Fina's STMR. I took it through the item world, but I'm not too happy with what I got so I may just do it again.

Ive run my Marlboros Tentacle almost exclusively. On good run on a Lohengrin, Brotherhood and Excal got crap, and some okay boosts on a Valkyrie to tide me over until I get Nue have all taken up a small handful of runs, but the tentacle has probably been run close to 10 times. Had a good one but stupidly threw it away.

I still love item world though, just because even a crap run provides some benefit, which is more than a lot of things in this game can say.

Is that mine? As soon as I saw the reference to a DPS tank I thought it might be! I could get his Atk a lot higher if I was willing to part with my Power Pots :)

As far as the why goes, mainly for shits and giggles. There was a topic about an Atk based Wilhelm on the FFBE boards, and I thought I needed to try that in the few days of downtime before setting up an Olive for Omega.

Diabolos and Tetra are... annoying. Mostly due to the DPS check I need to pull off at the end; Diabolos so I don't get dispelled and wiped, Tetra because snort is a thing.
Sadly, I need friends for that( Orlandeau and D.Fina respectively) and I seem to be out of those recently :/

Oh, no worries about calling me out there! When I realized it was likely mine after seeing the picture I LOL'd. I'll share an off the wall build like that, or Fists to Dick Sabin on occasion when there's not any fresh content like there is now.

The best one I've seen like that was Kefka on the FFBE board. During the CG Unit mog event he shared a normal Nichol (at least I think it was Nichol, might have been Lid) decked out with a bunch of TMRs to make them look real. It wasn't until someone made a topic cursing him that people started realizing he put up a comedy share. I might have to copy his Punchith one of these days, that one was really good (a 1200 Atk Tilith. Yes, that Tilith!)

Beginning to wonder if I've crossed a line. My biggest issue with using an emulator to TMR farm has been that I can't interrupt it while I'm at work to do things like item world or raids. Well I just installed a remote screen sharing app so I can go into my computer from my phone and turn off my macro, letting me do what I need to do, and then turn it back on again.

Yeah, I'm nuts.

Edit: Psh, best part is it gets stuck if I leave anyway, because I can't move the screen over to select Earth Shrine. Man, I am lame. XD

Turns out Zarglebargle is a damn fine dodge tank. Sadly beat Tetra too fast to summon Golem, oh well.

She's boosted in the rerun King Mog event. I appreciated all the shitty Lightnings on my friend list, since that was new to me, and a lot of Lightnings were needed at 13 stamina per run.

Now if people keep Lightning up after that goes away, then there's a problem.

That gives me hope for Diabolos. I was worried I didn't have much chance of taking him down. I'm likely going to have to wait for Rem 7* to take on Tetra, as I have no other good source of earth magic damage.

All of these Lightning's make TMR farming a bitch. Her attacks take almost as long as 2B when she has her TMR!

Pretty much. Mystea is the preferred mage tank here cause stop shenanigans.
My team was
>Zarg(dodge tank/death proof/re-revive for Basch/stop resist)

>Nichol(stat boosts)

>VoL 2x(DPS)

Keep in mind that graviga is 1)blockable and 2)reflective( which is why Carbuncle is actually useful in this fight) and that you can get bad luck and get wiped via AOE dispel...which is why you need the DPS check so you just keep hitting thresholds as much as you can.

But yea, mages, hybrid attackers and Lila are better DPS in this fight than, say, Orlandeau( though he can work).

Finally got a rare ability after like 10 full castle runs.

Funnily enough, it came from the first stage.

This item world is really bad. The rates don't go up every level according to the rate display like they did last time, and I'm seeing a bunch of reports of garbage. Kefka is also getting 3 1%s on floors 7 and 8 (thought that was just me). I've used around 120 orb refreshes and about 1k lapis on refreshes at this point, and got 1 rare.

Really, really bad. I'd say RNG is RNG, but pretty much the entire discord I'm on (not the official one) is having the same issue.

I mean, I've had some decent runs. Again, only one rare so far, but I've left a few with a full sets of XX +10% on the weapon as well. No lapis refreshes, just the potions.

I definitely feel like the rates at the higher floors are pretty crap this time around. It's part of why I'm avoiding doing any lapis refreshing; there's no guarantee I'll get something better than I've already got. Sure, maybe if it was the first time enhancing a weapon, because anything you get is an improvement over nothing, but if you've taken it through a few times you probably have some boosts you at least somewhat like, and refreshing on a bad chance to replace them? Eh.

I'll admit I'm half tempted to finish off a Nue quickly before the event ends; I can probably do another five runs tonight if I use all of my extra orb pots, and making VoL even more badass isn't a bad thing. But I've got Mag +22% on a Valkyrie, and I'd only be getting 28 extra Mag in raw weapon stats, so it doesn't really feel worth it. Other than that I'll probably run Brotherhood once more, and then keep trying to get better boosts on the tentacle.

Biggest prize this run has been my Lohengrin. I got the rare on that, on top of another 25% ATK. It's still a decently powered non-elemental sword, the best I've got since I haven't farmed up Onion Knight's, so I can't really complain.
