I started playing Symphony of the Night again recently. I've also gone back to FF 7 and Red Dead Redemption recently in the past in spite of how huge my backlog is. Just something about these games, the way they are designed, and how I still feel as though I get something new out of the experience while exploring worlds I'm fairly familiar with probably is a huge part of the appeal of these games that keeps me coming back.

ive been playing kh2fm which is technically an older game so yeah

I got my hands on Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Red Rescue Team for the GBA last week. Unlike past times I played, I actually let the personality test pick my starter instead of gaming the questions to get what I wanted. Ended up as a Treecko, picked Pikachu as my partner.

Yeah. I bought the collection on my 3DS. Really fun game. I hear a lot of great things about the newer games, but I think this holds up especially for a first entry in a series. The memes are pretty ubiquitous, but past that there is still a lot to enjoy here.

I have some virtual console currency I need to spend on my Wii, and I was going to redeem some for Zombies Ate My Neighbors. I remember renting it from the video store for $1 a day, and playing that, Final Fantasy II or III, and WWF Royal Rumble with friends. Good times, man.

Metro collection for one of my playstation systems. I'll have to give this a try finally. It looks really good, and I think the idea for the setting is pretty interesting. Especially having to find parts to allow you to breathe outside.
