Kaycee could snipe it if Tyler should end up in 3rd via losing the final HOH. I don't see anyone else aside from Tyler or Kaycee winning it all. Unless some miracle should occur and Angela and Brett end up in the finals... boy would that be hysterical.

That said, whoever the hell voted for "Other" needs to REALLY explain themselves. Someone who was evicted already isn't going to win, especially if that someone is Bayleigh or Rockstar.

I could see that happening I guess. At this point the only person besides them that I could even possibly see winning is Haleigh, and that would take an insane string of HoH and Veto wins. But if she pulls it off, she beats anybody but Tyler in the finals (having Faysal/Rockstar/Bayleigh/Scottie's votes against anyone and Sam's against anyone but Tyler).

I could see an non-zero percent chance that Scotty could win if he, Hayleigh, and Brett worked together but it would require alot of things to happen.

That being said, I voted Kaycee. In all of the seasons I have watched now, the person who won more often than not was not the best player of the season.

I can really see Brett/JC taking a shot at Tyler. I really don't think the people left in the game are such huge idiots that it would never occur to any of them that Tyler stands in their way of winning at the end. Once L6 has to start going after each other, or once JC feels threatened, I think something could happen.

JC's been pitching hard to Tyler/Brett (individually) to split up Angela/Kaycee asap, and Tyler is shutting him down cold every time. If it keeps happening, JC might actually get a clue and realize Tyler's not with him the way he thought he was. This could lead him to solidifying himself with Brett , who JC can conveniently let know that Tyler wants to cut first him from their group (which Tyler has said). Throw in Haleigh/the returnee/potentially Sam if they can play into her paranoia, and it's feasible. It's just a matter of if JC and Brett can realize it in time.

Haleigh's chances of winning are 1% at absolute best and I'm being generous. She's shown she has no idea how to use any power she does have (see: how she handled being the H@CK3R/ and how, as HOH, she thought she had Brett for no sound reason). I doubt she'll win that many comps down the line.

Right now, I put it as 75% Tyler, 24% Kaycee, 1% anyone else. I don't see anyone who will be willing to evict Tyler at any point before final 3, barring the F4 falling in a very specific way. Tyler's making final four whether anyone likes it or not. He can only finish 1st, 3rd, or 4th. There's no way the cards can fall where he gets nominated AND evicted, barring some new wild card getting shuffled in.

JC won't take a shot at Tyler. He'd take Angela out instead.

I guess I should be thankful that my CBS station actually listened to me like five or six years ago when I went on an email rant to them about how they were preempting a show I wanted to watch for a football game featuring a team nobody cares about (the Vikings) at a time nobody cares about (preseason). The Packers and Bears are on other networks and those are the only two teams with enough of a fanbase in the station's region to preempt stuff for.

Xuxon, is it the local team for which it is being preempted? Or are they doing it for no good reason like my CBS affiliate used to do?

it's basically a local team (~2 hours away). definitely the most popular team in this area. and i watch all the regular season games, even last week's pre-season game (the rookie QB's first start). but today's game is pointless. they're playing their third string QB to showcase and possibly trade him, and most of the people playing in general are backups.

Fair enough. She's the only person who would take a shot at him right now and the only one he doesn't have a final two deal with. Well, he has a showmance with Angela even though their F2 is unofficial, but it's there. The question is... how can Tyler make the F2 without inciting a bitter jury upon him the way Paul did? He's doing a much better job at managing jurors than Paul, that's for sure. But even so, will they reward him?

So apparently Scottie mentioned to Haleigh that there's a bitter jury pact going on, which makes sense given Bayleigh and Rockstar. And I'm sure most people are mad about this because they hate FOUTTE and love Level 6, but I actually like seeing that, even when you have a dominant alliance that's not COMPLETE assholes like Russell/Parv in HvV, or Paul in BB19...the jury can still come together and be fucking bitter as hell over how their game fell apart.

Now hear me out: obviously FOUTTE is fucking terrible at this game, but as I've said numerous times, they've only been especially bad because they've been on the defensive since week one and haven't had a chance to have things go their way outside of evicting the two members of L6 that they didn't want to evict in those particular weeks. And now you've had just a long string of this dominant alliance picking them off (either via twists, Faysal's stupidity, or Angela/Tyler winning HoH comps at the right times), and that's essentially saying "yeah, you're gonna be stuck in this house for a month, but you've got no chance in hell at winning because we're so much better than you."

In this instance, the recurrence of bitter juries is actually better for fans of the show in the long haul, because HOPEFULLY it'll teach players that if they form a rock solid alliance that steamrolls the other side, that other side has no real reason to return respect since they received none themselves. I dunno. I just like that it keeps the shows from turning into robotic "only the best gameplayer is allowed to win" seasons, and maybe makes those majority alliances think twice about godstomping the opposition the way these past two seasons have gone.

I honestly thought that Rockstar/Faysal/Scottie/Haleigh, with literally no other options left to do well in the game, should have gone to Tyler before the Veto ceremony during Haleigh's HoH and told him that if Rockstar went home that week, the four of them plus Bayleigh wouldn't vote for him on the jury, in other words, make it impossible for him to win. Yeah it sounds petty and bitter but I mean the train of thought sort of comes from the same mindset as Inviso's post.

If that's your attitude, then I hope Redemption Island is in your top ten Survivor seasons, because that's good gameplay and people doing well at the game, and it's fucking garbage. One large alliance picking off another alliance is fucking boring, and if bitter juries being pissed off about this makes that stop happening, then GOOD.

To be fair, I'd rather have Tyler win than Angela/Kaycee/Brett because, 1. He's head and shoulders the best player of the season, and 2. As a person I can tolerate him marginally more.

I don't watch Survivor, I just think it's silly to argue that players should actively avoid making good smart decisions. Like do want a season of no one making any moves at all and everyone just picking straws to decide who to nominate and evict? Because that's what praising bitter juries will accomplish. (obvious hyperbole)
