Assuming you're playing PS3 though. Dunno about PC that almost feels like it has to be there somewhere because it has seemingly every improvement you could think of.

Playing PC of course (I -prefer- playing games on PC pretty much as a fast rule, and am actually playing the game with mouse and keyboard because i'm weird like that), but I still don't see it.

Yeah, some events give a note in the character page of the notebook. However, IIRC, there's a free time period where there's more events that give notes than bond points too so you can't 100% that on NG still. Thankfully, only a trophy is behind that. There is a reward relating to the character notebook but you only need to have a certain % of it done.

The best one is Chloe vs Lightning, literally my #1 favorite character vs my #3 favorite character. What an awesome match. I'll be happy with any result!

The only way it could've been more perfect would've been Ionasal instead of Lightning but LOL at an Ar nosurge character making the bracket.

Pokemon aren't very good at the nomination phase because the massively LFF each other. This is why it took dedicate rallies to get some of them into the contest despite their strength.

--Really like what Allen did with the finals with seeding most of the NN and also adding the loser's bracket. (Though I do wish the loser's bracket didn't work in a way that generated a ton of rematches)

--Lmao I can't believe Neptunia actually made the bracket. Was there a B8 rally I wasn't aware of or was this just off her own popularity?

--Oh god Sans also has a solid bracket for building a rally, especially since unlike Monika I expect that Sans has reasonably high raw strength anyways.

--Bowser > Cloud in the quarterfinals is a lock don't @ me

If I were betting my life on this I'm probably taking Isaac, but for the stakes we are playing for I wouldn't be able to live it down if I missed a point by picking against Estelle in a remotely debatable match.

Isaac has been solid in every contest appearance he's ever made. I don't think Estelle has much of a shot unless Trails turns out to be unexpectedly popular.

It eventually becomes inevitable, but yeah, I think if you reversed the placement of the Legends R1 losers you'd avoid the worst case scenarios. (So the loser of the last Legends R1 match is placed at the top of the losers bracket and so on, then proceed normally.)

I really, really doubt it. Isaac is a nobody but I think literally being in Smash even as an Assist Trophy is enough to beat Estelle. If he only appeared in Golden Sun this might be winnable. But if that were the case Isaac probably doesn't make the field lol.

I'm picking Aya on principle, but I think Sully will be pretty bad fodder though. Drake is barely above the fodder line himself, and I think he's way stronger than anyone else from Uncharted.

Think this severely decreases any chances for rallies at least on the scale we saw with Draven/Undertale.

Honestly, the more I've thought about it, the more I think that simply makes it harder to get one started. Even if every registered user voted against a rally, how much is that really netting? 8000? Nothing to sneeze at, but you're not going to get that case most of the time.

I think it could actually cause more drama with "normal" matches that would otherwise be close. A boost to Nintendo, for example.

Also yeah its definitely possible that the registered user change shifts even gamefaqs base strength considerably if registered users are different in some way from regular visitors.

I think registered votes counting double adds a layer of unpredictability to the contest since we don't really know what percentage of votes each match come from registered voters, so it can be interesting whether it's a rally inhibitor or not.

Apparently switching a pick undoes your picks for all future matches in that winner's path, even if you had them losing the very next round anyway.
