I had a weirdly busy weekend and things won't quiet down any time soon, but I finished two more airing anime.

Miss Caretaker of Sunohara-sou was pretty good for a fanservice show! As someone who isn't the biggest fan of the genre, I feel like this was an excellent example of how fanservice/harems should be handled (then again, since I'm not the biggest fan of the genre, maybe they shouldn't make shows that cater to me, I dunno). I appreciated how there was basically zero drama, it was just cute SoL moments with fanservice thrown in. All of the girls weren't going after some generic loser either, quite a few had no interest in him and were still good despite that, and even Aki himself was a fun character who could join in on good moments. Nana was also easily the hottest anime character of the season, god damn. This was just slightly below average at a 5/10, but I enjoyed it quite a bit.

Happy Sugar Life was also good, though not as good as it could have been. To begin with, it took a lot of edgy elements that would normally make me angry and instead presented them in a way that was fun and interesting. Glimpsing Satou's internal logic was especially compelling, like you could see how she reached conclusions and it all made sense to her despite being crazy and wrong to normal people. These were all the things I hoped it would be before the season started, so that was nice. Still, I felt like it could have gone further with these elements and made something truly special rather than merely good. Towards the end especially, I think it lost sight of what it was trying to do. Still, I enjoyed it enough to rank it a solid 7/10.

I think Im done with the training camp arc. MHA S3 spoilers Man that was pretty cool even if several characters Id have liked to see do something got robbed. Basically all of the girls did nothing other than catmilf and big hands. Deku vs Muscular looked cool even if it was pretty predictable and the other villains mostly seemed interesting. Kinda surprised they didnt make use of the Nomu since that couldve wiped out most of the students by itself probably.

Was a fun arc and now its time for another one.

as someone who has only watched the anime and doesn't know what happens, it seemed really obvious something bad is going to happen to this guy and probably fast. I'm pretty okay with this since he is annoying as fuck based on the one episode.

it's puppet theater mixed with wuxia elements, they got the idea (puppet theater) from the southern part of mainland China

wuxia is just something both mainland and Taiwan are fans of

if you are ever in the mood for live action wuxia then give 2001 and 2003 a try

This is still true but I did intentionally look up a bit more than that, as I often prefer having some context to no context after I've already been spoiled on something like this.

Specifically I know that it wasn't due to All for One but has something to do with who I think are the bad guys of the upcoming arc. Though I don't know what exactly leads to this confrontation or anything like that.

Well there's another episode here, but DD is definately the best anime of the season so far, even though everything's been a winner. Still haven't taken the dive into REdriveD yet, since there's a full month before that continues.

2nd arc of MHA S3 beated. I think thats 12 episodes Ive seen now. All Might vs All for One was awesome. Like hot damn what an emotional episode. Even the cooldown episode was good and introduced some parents. I dont think I knew Jiros dad was a rock star. Bakugos mom is just like an adult woman form of Bakugo haha and his dad is a total Deku XFD. Im still baffled how Dekus mom changed appearance in such a short time. Like her becoming a hobbit is just weird.

I really like the few episodes I saw my roommate watching a couple months ago, just haven't gotten around to it.

Also a little turned off by the whole marketing aspect of it. Not so much the product placement, doesn't really bother me, more so how it keeps buying it's way to the top of popularity polls and rankings.
