Okay the Rockies won again, they aren't going to screw this up now *knock on wood*

Worst they could finish is 89-73, best the Cards could finish is 90-72. So basically they just need one win or one Cardinals loss to guarantee, at worst, a play-in game for the play-in game

I shall save any congratulations until such a time that they have actually clinched a spot in the playoffs so as to not be seen as attempting a jinx. But clearly I'm pinning my hopes on passing the Dodgers, so I sincerely hope the Rockies win the division.

I'm watching it with Buck and Aikman because I have TV but honestly I would've liked to try them out. Maybe I'll watch it on my computer, I have a 32" TV I use as a monitor

When Cliff Lee does that stuff it's funny though, and he's a pitcher so who really cares. I tried to find a video of it but all I could find was on mlb.com and their video player has been wonky for me. So let's instead enjoy this classic Cliff Lee moment:

Lol even the default on Prime is Buck and Aikman. This is so not a big deal. It actually took me some work to figure out how to get the female announcers.

Also I'm pumped that the Rams are wearing their far superior throwback jerseys.

I find Buck a little annoying but I'm fine with Aikman.

I listened to the female stream up until Thielen wasn't touched on a catch he went to the ground on and they didn't even talk about it as it happened and then barely said anything. They were not good.

Of course the Rams are the best team, right after they got done sucking for all those years in St. Louis. It's just like when the Browns won the Super Bowl as the Ravens!

They could be the last undefeated team after this week when the Patriots take the Dolphins back to earth and go "Ha you fell for it again guys", and the Broncos EXPOSE Mahomes. Okay that last part probably isn't happening

I know the Rams offense is really good, but Vikings D looked like absolute trash. Offense looked really good, but Rams was better obv. I knew they would lose, but this would suck less if they didn't just get blown out by the fucking bills. Oh well. I feel nothing.

I almost forgot that the Cubs don't actually have the Central title. So the Cards winning would also be good for that reason. At least if the Dodgers make it, one game that takes out either them or the Cubs would be cool

The Cardinals are going to lose this game and then it will all be over. They really turned it around without Matheny but reentered Earth's atmosphere a little too hot and then crashed magnificently right at the end.

SpeeD was also right about Carpenter. I love the guy and that stretch this season where he was unstoppable was obviously not sustainable but he's been a complete zero for weeks.

But I do remember that. Man, he was such a hard pitcher to watch in Baltimore. It was cool seeing him pitch well out of the pen, even closing at one point this year, but he's just not that good.

He was huge for us in the first half but completely cratered.
