That's not comparable. The cartoon had some scenes not suitable for children removed - in Russia. The Russian government did not remove them elsewhere. It's not like the cartoon was entirely changed like SJW censorship is doing to games, etc.

However, since there are tragically many parents who haven't got the time and/or are simply awful parents and just put their children in front of the TV without monitoring what they watch, the government needs to do what it can to protect the children.
