They have to make available hideouts.

I can see that being a problem with how the game is set up already because there's no empty buildings.

The map is almost too big for online, too.

In GTA Online, everyone basically gathered in Los Santos, but there's no real central hub for the Red Dead map.

Ooh, I just thought of a fun way they could do it.

Like how there are buildings that are actively being built in the single player world, that actually GET built over time.

Maybe they could do a map add-on that way? They could even have missions where players can protect/raid the new settlement and its supplies?

That could be awesome.

Main game beated!

Playing a few missions in the Epilogue chapter is really making me miss Arthur.

Arthur has also easily become my favorite protagonist in a rockstar game replacing none other than John Marston at the top. A very likable, charismatic character with layers of depth.

Definitely would have rallied for his entry into the contest if the game came out sooner.

I dunno. There's a lot of buildings that don't serve any purpose that you currently can't enter. I always assume they're going to be used as player houses in Online. I'm pretty sure I saw a For Sale sign on one of them.

I feel the exact opposite. It's too hard to dick around in GTAO because you can't walk 10 steps without being shot in the head by a sniper rifle or blown up by a flying rocket-equipped car. Or blown up by a rocket-equipped sniper rifle; the power creep got insane in that game.

That's probably how RDR Online will make its money. A year from now everyone will riding horses that can fly and drop nukes out of their anuses and if you want to keep up better buy those shark cards.

The way the game defines "completion" is weird. Like to check off the "strangers" thing in the completion tab you only need to encounter ten of them, but there are more than ten in the game. You also only need to find 50 animals to check that box...

but then they want you to find every Dreamcatcher and that seems super hard because I've only found 2 so far and it was totally accidental.

You need to only be ambushed by a gang once too. There are a handful that have really low requirements.

I'd call it nice, but they also expect you to complete every challenge. Some of those Gambler challenges are absolutely ridiculous.

The hard ones don't require you to do them in a row but they're simply cumulative so you'll get them eventually

"Eventually" is the operative word here. I mean, if you willing to sit down for hours waiting for the excessively slow animations play out until you clear the challenge then I'm sure they can be considered to not be too difficult, but I don't know how many people are willing to spend their precious lifespan on something like that. They're just designed really dumb.

As far as I can tell you can't even get them. I had to kill a dog because it was attacking me and there's no option to skin it.

I was attacked by a dog but I didn't want to kill it so I just shot my gun at the ground to scare it off.

It actually nearly single-handedly wiped out my entire health bar just because I didn't want to attack it.

Can you not find it, or is there a message appearing that says it's not in the area?

If it's the former it's around northwest of Strawberry, in that really sparse gray forest.

If it's the latter, then there's some event in the area overriding it, like a gang camp. Clear it out and return later.

Only in chapter 3 and not sure how much more of this game I'll end up playing, but the good news is playing Hitman now makes Agent 47 feel like a speed demon coming off this game.

This is also why I refuse to play any game until I finish the Platinum because I don't know if I'd be able to go back to how the game controls now that I'm used to it
