Phase 3 of RFA

I will PM any user who had an RFA of theirs sign a deal with another team. I will include the contract details, and you will have until Tuesday, November 20th at 11:59 PM ET to inform me if you intend to match the deal or decline to match and receive a draft or draft picks from the other team.

If everyone sends in their plans by Monday, I might be able to start the next event Tuesday or Wednesday instead of Thanksgiving evening or Friday as originally planned.

I mean the Cowboys had an attractive RFA so I feel that's unlikely!

Well these user RFA targets were surprising. I only called two of them. Even more surprising is how most of the deals didn't seem to be all that serious and are likely to be matched or outbid by AI teams.

I think a lot of user teams are feeling the crunch salary wise. Like I have 60m cap room but if I re-sign the people I want I only have like ~8m left and still like 5-6 gaps including some of the highest paying positions in the league

I figured that my offer would be matched but I also didn't want to overpay for a backup essentially But we'll see. And I decided against the possible idea I had. *shrug*

Didn't really want to lose McGuire since he was very productive last season (at least for a Steelers CB) but I can't really pay him so I'll take a swing at another CB in the draft and hope they develop

I also wouldn't have matched if anyone actually offered on Gipson but nobody did.

Can't wait for RFA to go through so I can find out what drafts picks I can peddle away and if I still have my 1st.

I will not be matching the offer for the G who had 26 blocks against 11 sacks last season and hasn't had a good career overall. I was certain that you would go after Osmele who has had a tremendous career thus far.

I wanted to go for Osmele but I assumed there would be competition and as I was only willing to offer the default offer I felt I had a greater chance of getting Fletcher than Osmele.

If you're telling me nobody bid on Osmele I am going to be a sad panda

No user went after Osmele, but the AI did.

Everyone has given me their answers, so I think that I can report on the end of RFA within the next few hours.

I actually planned on not making an offer at all and then seeing if you would deal me the RFA contract for a 1st but I figured since RFA contracts are such a bargain you'd want more than a 1st

Rams have signed Broncos SS Scott Morris to a 6 year deal. The Broncos have elected not to match and receive the Rams' 1st and 3rd round picks.

Panthers have signed Chiefs TE Julius Thomas to a 4 year deal. The Chiefs have elected not to match and receive the Panthers' 4th round pick.

Lightning have signed Dolphins G Kelechi Osmele to a 3 year deal. The Dolphins have elected not to match and receive the Lightning's 1st round pick.

Steelers have signed Dolphins G Jonathan Fletcher to a 3 year deal. The Dolphins have elected not to match and receive the Steelers' 1st round pick.

Colts have ruined everything and signed Dolphins SS Isa Abdul-Quddus to a 4 year deal. The Dolphins begrudgingly elected not to match and receive the Colts' 1st round pick.

I have no way of knowing how many AI teams were in on him, but Morris was the only player that multiple user teams were on. You all offered around the same annually, but one user offered 4 years, another 5 years, and the Rams 6.

You now have 2 former Steelers CBs so I am not sure how much of an upgrade that is!

McGuire was actually really solid last season though, he got 6 INTs

I was sure that you were going to match due to Parrish's regression, Banks aging, and other factors.

Whoa someone actually signed a Titans RFA. And they didn't match. I probably would have assigned the same tenders to those players but man...I'd probably have kept a 89 OVR TE who's apparently one of the better pass blocking TEs and showed last year he could catch passes too. If it was a higher pick than the Broncos then I'd consider it but eh I'm in charge of the Bears now so whatever.

Allen is a Top-5 blocking TE and just went to the Broncos insane rushing attack. Looks like it will continue to be the Broncos, Jags, Dolphins, and maybe Jets in the AFC for another season.

I confirm, but I do want people to note that I do own the Bills pick now. I proposed that trade while my trade with the Bills was still under peer review.

To help clear up the trade, the Wildcats receive Bell for their 3rd plus a few small trade downs (from their perspective) in the 2nd and 4th.

I didn't realize how dire the situation was for most people at OLB.

I'd be willing to sign and trade OLB Junior Galette (77) if anyone is interested. Seems like he would be a starter for quite a few teams.

Also may be willing to DT Randy Starks (87) go in a sign and trade too

Also, I am now 1 OT away from fielding a full O-line of former Dolphins.

I am kinda curious as to what plan was ruined by KCF losing Abdul-Quddus in RFA

Nobody going after LE Erik Thornton (87) surprised me. 87 is DE28 in the league so a bonafide starter for only a 1st rounder.
