I was thinking about it. With men, you can go around having sex and its usually looked at as hes just having fun or sleeping his thing or just being a guy. If a female has sex with even 1/4 of the amount of people, they call her a slut or whore.

Also, some men think that its ok if they have had a lot of sexual partners, but cant be with a women who has had a lot, even though its a much lower number, if it is. I mean, you still have the right to choose who to be with. But just because theyve been with a lot of people, you shouldnt look down on them. Especially if its less than you.

Then theres one the other way around. Like, in college, if a girl kisses another girl, its just experimenting. But if seems that most people would immediately call a guy gay if they did that. Why the double standard there. Though, that might be mostly guys who think they can bag both the females or something. But whatever.

For the females, there are a good amount who are desperate and just let any guy who wants them to have them. And maybe they also want to have fun and sleep with more than one guy in their life. But why did a good amount of people develop critical thinking to understand that women can also have sex without being whores, but some didn't. Also, what about the whole gay thing? Kind of like what everyone else it saying, it's something to do with preselection. Women being attracted to guys who others want (they prefer to share a 'high value' guy than to settle for a 'low value' guy) while many men find the idea of sharing a women somewhat repulsive.I still don't properly understand why preselection occurs.

I've no idea where this stigma comes from nor do I care. No matter what way you look at it if you've had a lot of sexual partners willingly then yes you're a slut.

No I don't believe being curious in any way automatically means that's the way your bread is buttered when it comes to just a kiss. Going all the way and saying "I was just trying it out" makes me wonder though. The bottom line is I don't care how many folk people have fucked or their sexuality unless I'm actually interested in them so it's whatever.

Most of the time, guys think theres something special about taking a girl virginity. Where girls seem to want a guy with experience. Im with the ladies that I want a guy with at least some experience. The only good thing about sex with a virgin is being able to teach them to have sex the way you like it.

But I personally just think virgins are virgin. Nothing special or bad about them... Theyre the same as other people except for the fact that they havent had sex yet...

Well, that's why in my follow up post, I brought up the fact that we have critical thinking skills and complex emotions that allow us to control our primal instincts but that doesn't mean they're completely gone

Because it's harder for a guy to sleep with a lot of women than it is for a woman to sleep with a lot of men and the standards exist to reflect that? However, keep in mind that guys who have kids by many women are seen as fuck-ups the same as women who have kids by many men.

I'm basing this on a general group of friends and aquiantances (magic the gathering really gets you a large group of people you know/hang out with) in my area (Olympia), but yeah, women especially under 30 right now, are often more free, and less likely to want a serious relationship.

To the point where the guys are complaining about it lol. They are certainly not slut-shamed at all anymore, and it has almost become the norm at this point. You even see them actively seeking out new "boys" etc.

In a crazy twist that is hard to believe, these same women actually slut-shame guys who sleep around lol, while not accepting anything like that themselves (I have seen it).

For the guys, it's the older ones (nearly 30 or just past it) who are actively looking for a real relationship after casually dating for a decade or more, that are really having a problem.

All I can say is the dating scene is WAY different then it was 20+ years ago when I dated last. Not sure if it's a good thing or not, but the 18-30 year olds seem to mostly have no concern at all about STDs. They joke about it even.

Quite the opposite, rates are increasing across the board. I blame a misguided era of sex ed that was "don't have sex" versus "hey, young people are gonna do what they want, let's try and up the chances of them doing those things less stupidly."
