20 y/o Abigail Finney from Indiana is outraged and is fighting to change the laws in her state after a man who had SEX with her while PRETENDING to be her boyfriend was ACQUITTED of rape and the charge was expunged from his record!!

She was in shock when she realized the man she considered her rapist, Donald Grant Ward, would not face penalty for what he did. She said "I was like, i feel violated. This feels wrong. But i don't know if it's illegal" after recalling what she wrote to her friend that night.

She said what the man had done was LEGAL because she allowed the sex believing that she was having intercourse with her boyfriend and Donald even told police he knew Abigail thought he was her boyfriend and that was why she allowed him to have sex.

Abigail fell asleep on one night in her bf's dorm room and awoke to a man who she thought was her boyfriend groping her from behind. After more foreplay they begin having sex but she didn't see his face since it was dark.

She stopped after a minute and was in shock when she returned to bed from the bathroom to find out it was his FRIEND there!!

She said "I remember him grinning at me. It was a freaky image. I was just kind of, i was frantic. i didn't know what was going on"

But only after 2 days of testimony and a few hours of deliberation, he was acquitted as this is not unique to indiana either with 40 states not defining consent in their rape laws and that rape by fraud is NOT a crime.

It was difficult for Abigail to grasp what had happened as her boyfriend to help confirm what had happened and thought there would be a conviction..but it all went south after the verdict was read.

Abigail was angry and felt like she wasted a year of her life fighting what had happened as her therapist even said the trial caused a second trauma.

She is now taking time of school because of anxiety and nightmares and the Supreme Court Vote of Brett Kavanaugh didn't help matters either as she is now fighting to have this law changed for future victims.

I smell bullshit in this story. Throwing politics that have nothing to do with this into the story reeks of liberal news spin since in this case it is attacking republicans.

I've had sex in the dark before. It's hard as hell to accidently fuck someone that's not your boyfriend. How do you never once turn and look? How do you not notice him sounding different? How do you not notice him smelling different? How do you not notice him feeling different?
