However, the way she wrote the books, neither romance works very well. Ginny is a minor support character for 5 books before Harry all of a sudden becomes obsessed with her. Hermione & Ron are completely incompatible, she spends the entire series nagging him to stop being so lazy, immature, & rude. Meanwhile, Ron constantly belittles Hermione's interest in reading & learning and makes her cry in every single book/movie.
