Nope. It's kind of just a little side story for some extra world building. I personally really liked it and think it's worth playing. But it's not necessary.

I did. It was a pretty comfortable watch despite being less than memorable.

I watched a good deal of it and then just forgot about it.

Looks like I still have 4 more episodes to go.

Easy to do when it was monthly half-length releases <_<

I saw 2 or 3 amazing clips come out of it, but something tells me it doesn't all live up to Floatie Saber, Fate/Haikyuu, and Off Road Medusa.

Probably the best thing I can say about that show is that it is a better cooking anime than Soma, in retrospect.

I still remember that magical 2013 winter season where I went on my spree of godlike anime. I'd been out of anime for almost 2 years because I, a bastion of taste at the time, got fed up with the topic talking about some dumb pink magical girl crap instead of the big blowout mainstream hit Kaiji. I ignored anime until JoJo started in fall 2012 because wow, finally, it's JoJo!

It was only a matter of time before I got back in the game and CHRIST what a chunk of anime to watch back to back completely unspoiled with zero expectation. Steins;Gate, Bakemonogatari, Fate/Zero, Madoka (ironically), Psycho-Pass, and surely some other crap that wasn't as important. Hell, it'd be half a year before I started Hunter x Hunter.

been watching Bunny Girl

first arc was pretty cool. Mai and Sakuta are good MCs. second arc was mostly carried by them being great, since Koga kinda sucks. felt like it should've been 2 eps instead of 3. at least the end was good.

also annoyed that they tl'd 'buta yarou' as 'rascal.' Rascal feels way too mild. "Son of a bitch" or something would fit much better.

Nothing about her character is really interesting. Seen her type plenty of times before, unfortunately. Was hopeful when they mentioned the rumors about her being a super slut, but alas, they had to stay with her being generic and boring.

Despair Episode 7 cleared. Brutal. So that's the classroom in the fifth floor of the first game I guess. Though a bit surprised. I thought there would be more interactions between Junko and the Remnants before that even happened.
