I havent heard it in many years though. Funny how guinea pigs have such a rare noise that is still not fully understood. I wonder if yours was indeed related to her piggie buddy passing away. I think a better way would be to partially fill up a bathtub that has a slanted bottom, so they could wade or swim a bit if they wanted to, but would always have the option of getting out on the higher ground.
