There's a new player campaign going on right now for Mobius Final Fantasy. The game is pretty fun and feels like a legitimate RPG that you'll find on the PS2 and fully voice acted in English.

It's got some fucking great music most people won't ever hear either.

You can do the whole story casually. You don't really have to bother with the Gacha unless you're trying to do the limited challenge events--which are usually easy the first lap for some frontloaded rewards but there's an immense difficulty Spike afterwards but the only rewards past the first lap are leaderboards.

It's worth checking out if you're into Gundams. My phone ran consistently hot when playing it though so I deleted it.

The Gundam game is based on the Gundam Breaker games. I recently imported Gundam Breaker 3 Break Edition (includes all DLC) and it was pretty fucking amazing with all the customization options. I tried the new game on my tablet and it keeps crashing when I try to download something in it

Ouch, that sucks.

But that's not the fastest gacha game closure I've seen, not even close. There was one game that opened late last year (in conjunction with its anime adaptation airing in the fall season) and it barely lasted three months before the servers were shut down. Interestingly, rather than completely take the game down from the app stores, the people running the game decided to patch it and turn it into a standalone, offline game with all of the gacha features removed. But still, they gave up on the game making money and essentially pulled the plug after only three months.

The anime itself didn't perform well even in Japan, and the game just never got off the ground in part due to how underwatched the anime was. Not even a collaboration event with Cardcaptor Sakura could give the game enough of a boost to save it. It's a shame, because even though both the anime and the game didn't have much of a budget to work with, the staff put a lot of effort and passion into making them enjoyable. They wouldn't have gone through the effort to convert the game to an offline version in the end if they didn't care and were only in it for the money.

That sucks lol. Anamanemsisisems was pretty fun for the brief few weeks I played it. But yeah... there was something about it that was sorta not as interesting as it should be. The story was also pretty all over the place in a post SO3 SO fashion, and not exactly a fun game to grind in, more than something to pick up and play sometimes. I imagine it'd be fun with friends

Magia Record had the same problem at the beginning, but luckily the game throws chances to get recovery potions (both +50 and max) at you like crazy in events. Even after grinding the new event like crazy yesterday, I still have 12 max potions left in my stash. Maybe that Gundam game will end up the same way in a month or so and you'll be swimming in recovery items.

Meanwhile, Revue Starlight ReLIVE probably has the most generous stamina system I've ever seen in a gacha game. The most I've seen a single mission cost is 15 stamina, the natural maximum (AKA the highest you can reach with just the natural time-based recovery) at my level is 125, and sometimes when I'm done grinding an event and start to stockpile for the next one, I can save upwards of 1,000 stamina for the beginning of the next event through outside sources besides the natural recovery. It's crazy how generous this game is in just about everything except the gacha pull rates.

If you guys enjoy the Gundam game, I HIGHLY recommend importing Gundam Breaker 3 Break Edition. Fully translated in English and has all the DLC. And no energy to worry about lol

Yeah, the energy potions they give out are % energy, so I don't really like to use them because I'm always thinking that it'll keep being more efficient later on.

Well I only played the first 3 levels but it seems pretty good. Standard turn based RPG stuff. Auto mode unlocks right away. I rolled a 4* character on my first try (I think 5* characters exist but are not gacha-able, they have to be promoted)

It's getting late. I'll check out Magia tomorrow.

Gate Six seems pretty good so far. No need to reroll as they give you a free 4* of your choice (4* is the max rarity you can obtain currently). Currency seems slow to come by though and I believe someone mentioned that the rates for 4* units is 2.2% or something like that.

Bottom line is that it's worth checking out and deciding for yourself.

Edit: If you're wondering what 4* to choose then Leona is supposed to be the best currently.

So the out-of-season New Years event that got King Crimson'd two months ago is now going to happen in Revue Starlight ReLIVE. And based on the announcement post, the official Facebook page is aware of how the fans reacted when it got skipped in the first place.

It's a side scrolling beat em up like Dragon's Crown. It's really fun so far but I only played the tutorial.

The subreddit seems to think that she'll be an actual unit for the next banner.

Maybe, maybe not. Keep in mind new outfits have been done before in event promos but weren't new adventurers.

Until you see an actual confirmation of a unit I wouldn't bother making assumptions about what's going to be on the banner. They've made tons of art for units that never got any models. There's been stuff datamined from late 2018 that still isn't in the game. There's been stuff like models and weapon types for people like Sun Wukong. There was data found for Sarisse as a Light Bow that never happened, etc.

If someone can actually pull model data for the new Siren it'll have a bit more credibility but just a 2D sprite for an infographic does not mean anything. Anytime people think they've figured out the Cygames pattern they've ended up being wrong.

I'm not saying she's definitely not on the banner but there is no reason to believe she is at present.

I think she was intended to be for the Lunar New Year event but decided to go with something a bit more Chinese at the last minute since that's where the bulk of pulls would have come from.

I finally managed to save up 900 diamonds in gate Six and got 9x2* and 1x3*

The 3* was Idol Miho and that's also the first not green or purple unit I managed to get so I promoted her right away to 4*

So Siren did get an alt. Now shes a light dragon. Cleo also got a light archer alt and Verica has a dark healer alt.

And Luca got a 4* light axe alt.

This probably one of the least interesting banners we've had in a while IMO. Cleo looks great despite ANOTHER alt so soon. Would've rather had Luca be the 5* or Siren as a unit instead of another dragon alt.

Apparently JP players are starting to get angry at the overabundance of female alts and general neglect of both male alts and male 5*s

This typically is not a good sign so they will probably do something to compensate. Like another double male character banner.

Good. Granblue doesn't have this problem, dunno why DL has the imbalance.

By the way Ty, are you interested in joining an Alliance? mine's large and active on Discord if you are, I've been enjoying it.

I actually started my own alliance. I find that for general socializing discord works better.

The 30 member limit is kind of a joke anyway.
