Then reinstate the death penalty globally for any crime that causes lasting harm to a person or organization, lasting harm being anything that has effects lasting more than 20 years. Legalize pot, criminalize alcohol.

My first move is pretty simple. Collect every nuclear weapon in the world and store them in a few secret locations set up with the most rigorous, comprehensive, and advanced security system in the history of the world. No further nuclear weapons would be allowed to be made. The reason for not simply destroying them all outright is because of potential scientific research applications and/or uses outside the realm of the military.

After that, I'd probably ban the public practicing of religion. If you wish to believe, you may do so in the privacy of your own home. Religious exemptions for anything (such as taxes) will face a blanket removal. The phrase "due to my belief" and other variations on it will no longer be acceptable in a court of law. Anybody who references any god or gods in a court proceeding will be warned once, and any further references will face charges for contempt of court.

I'd also make it illegal to discriminate against any employee or potential employee on the basis of anything which does not directly affect their ability to perform the duties of the job. For example, you may not fire an employee because they are white/black/latino/gay/straight/bi/trans/etc. You may, however, fire that transgender cashier because they can't count.

And I'm sure I'd come up with a lot more pretty easily. Those are just off the top of my head.

Make it an electable position after 2 years, term will be 6 years. One term max. Utilizing alternative voting where you rank candidates based on how much you support them. Mimick the house/senate with countries instead of states.
