The guys from POST Wrestling (John Pollock and Wai Ting) also mentioned it during their Raw Review. Apparently, they were trying different establishing shots and camera pans throughout the shows. I wish they'd try something different than the hard cam shot for in-ring action. The original 2016 Smackdown "slow pan" wasn't amazing, but it was SOMETHING.

Smackdown on 6/18 drew a 1.27 rating and 1,859,000 viewers, (1.65 viewers per home) which would be the fourth lowest live audience number. It was down 3.7 percent from last week and 19.7 percent down in viewers but a whopping 35.5 percent in ratings from last year.

The only shows in history that did lower viewer numbers since Smackdown went live were 2/5 (against Donald Trumps state of the union address) and 4/30 and 5/14 against NBA playoff games. The 5/14 show holds the record low at 1,827,000, so for a show with no sports competition or major competition to nearly hit the all-time low is a bad sign.

Kingston vs Ziggler like I really can't fathom this feud existing long term. You needed to feud Kingston with a STRONG main eventer as crowd support or not he's just not a proven commodity yet and doesn't have ME level credibility. I dare say Kingston is actually hurting the prestige of the title at the moment rather than being elevated by it with this booking.

I blame literally every title change being through a roll-up, and basically every segment involving a title change. Makes all the segments feel the same. Hardcore title there'd often be creative forms of violence or some token resistance or whatever, and the title holder would get away more often by fighting the other guy off.

Here it's like, if someone gets you in position to roll you up there's a title change no questions. It's schoolyard tag not an actual belt you fight for.
