They should have their own division.

This. Not trying to discriminate against them, but with the drugs they have to take to undergo their transition, along with basic biology, it would be unfair to place them in either league but especially not the womans league.

Yeah, my statement was that there is no definitive stance in the medicinal community.

Not on diagnosis.
Not on treatment.
Not on short/long term effects.
Not on pretty much anything.

Yeah, there's an agreed upon method of diagnosing (if X number of symptoms persist for more than Y period of time)
Yeah, there's been an agreement on what the proper treatment is (allowing them to transition socially, taking hormones, getting other treatments they might need as it relates to addressing their dysphoria such as hair removal, surgery, etc.)
There's decades of research on short term and long term effects, especially since the estrogen supplements most of us are on is the exact same as what post menopausal cis women take, and there was a paper recently in Europe tracking a few hundred subjects who had started puberty blockers and hrt in their teens as opposed to starting hrt after first puberty has finished

You're so full of crap it's pathetic, and insulting to literally everyone who has made the unfortunate mistake of reading any of your posts.

Alright well I'll back up my stance with this:
https://www.nature.com/articles/d41586-019-01237-z

It's by no means a answer to everything but it's a good overview and pretty much everything I see amounts to points brought up in the article.

So, sure I could obviously be wrong. I'm not a specialist in that field so I don't have a strong opinion myself.

But I'm not full of shit. What you said in this post alone is still debated to this day. Idk why you're so hostile but you sure as hell aren't a pleasure to talk to and I'm beginning to see why CE is so hostile to you.

Fat percentage, fat distribution, muscle density, muscle mass, bone density and hemoglobin content in transwomen after treatment with HRT are all in line with the typical levels for those seen in cisgender women

Age graded race performance statistics among transwomen are equal to those of cis gender women

A meta-analyisis of research into transwomen's performance across a comprehensive range of sports found "Currently, there is no direct or consistent research suggesting transgender female individuals (or male individuals) have an athletic advantage at any stage of their transition (e.g. cross-sex hormones, gender-confirming surgery) and, therefore, competitive sport policies that place restrictions on transgender people need to be considered and potentially revised."
https://link.springer.com/article/10.1007/s40279-016-0621-y

There is is simply no evidence that transwomen competing in women's are at any significant advantage over cisgender women, and anyone trying to argue otherwise is simply arguing from their feelings. If you want to exclude transwomen from sports, it's not because the "facts" are on your side.

The sad thing is that people want to use sports to unfairly shit on transgenders, however realistically MtFs should not compete in the womens division. Testosterone makes bodies bigger, stronger, and faster. Its a competitive advantage that should not be allowed.

That said, I think UFC has a good compromise. Transgenders need to be on hormones for at least two years before they can compete with their gender and are required to get tested regularly.

Last line sums it up. But then, the only reason anyone would be transphobic anyways is because they ultimately reject the basic fact that trans people are the gender they are.

it's just sports no reason to get your knickers in a bunch

People who say this are the most obvious of nerds

Sports are important for many reasons

They make a lot of moneg for one. And two they produce some of the most intelligent and skilled people.

The bottom line is that this would harm womens sports greatly. If anyone should be pissed its them

did you just call me a NERD!!! >:(
