The Ben/Death interaction day 2 is the one which kind of solidifies the read. Death seems concerned that Ben scanned him. Ben seems to be coy regarding it to try and not give himself away.

Death also twice slipped roles about the scum team that made me question if he had extra knowledge.

I have made a case for Pez being scum earlier, also.

And, they are both scum.

I just question the paranoia being sprouted regarding this and basically ANYTHING that LOPEN says at any point now.

It's okay, bud. These things happen. Your team got royally screwed with your redirectors going down and choosing bad shot targets the first 2 nights.

Your team is gonna go down as a shining example as why mafia teams should be analyzing town comments to make reads to HUNT POWER and not shoot blindly at "best" players.

Yadda yadda, yinz will say the game was imbalanced, but the balance was devastated when we lost nothing for 2 nights and yinz lost your redirectors the first 2 nights.

Death seemed to fear Ben scanned him during Day 2. If they could manipulate scans, IF, they would have done something to Ben to flip his scans Night 2.

LOPEN has played this game as NOT TOWN. Mafia seems too obvious, so if there is an INDY. Lopen is it.

Obviously this can be ignored for many days due to 2 set lynches. But, Lopen looks like a hot mess over there.

Corrik is driving the game rather than absorbing the game. That's what I mean by not thinking. The level of confidence is unbecoming of town at this juncture. In my experience, for scanning roles like cop it would be "[guy you wound up scanning] is [alignment]"
For non-scanning roles like doc I think you usually get nothin'

This feels like a give up post from Death so guess I'm sticking with him.

Realistically killing Corrik is the most logical move. If you shoot at obvious protect targets they'll die the same night if he's out there and protects them.

You can choose to do that and then gamble that scum doesn't just kill Corrik. Or you can have Lolo protect Corrik and let scum gamble on which scanner Corrik protects. Or since Ben is town lying about being a cop, Corrik protects 5tar and Lolo protects Corrik. Lots of options. Or just leave it all up in the air and let scum and power try to figure out what each other will do.

Anyway, I'm in the middle of catching up. I stand by my assertion that we only have one scanner and Ben is lying. That makes Death a pretty good lynch though. I hesitate though because neither outcome is particularly good for me personally. If Death is scum then everyone thinks Ben is telling the truth. If Death is town, we know Ben is lying and we just lynched a town player.

Either way we'll spend another whole day arguing about this when I thought it was pretty clear to begin with.

Apparently I didn't get to catch up before I had to go tutor. My wife just reminded me of the time.

I'm still giggling about Death forgetting his script for the day because it was hot and thinking of that Simpsons clip. That's the kind of scum slip I like - word choice ones are lame, but going from saying thinking Ben is scum with a fake scan and accepting being lynched to confirm Ben scum - to the exact opposite opinion - is so great. It's a little too great tbh, I do think we should give some thought to scum preferring a Death lynch to a Pez lynch.
