I'm in agreement with you insofar as I don't necessarily believe all of the claims on the table

I disagree with you strongly in your Mafia reads

Thank you for your efforts, in any event

As others have said, your Mafia reads feel so wrong it's almost comical

Chris wanted us to get along, but the lines you take make it seemingly impossible

Certainly, we don't see the game nearly the same way

I hope there can be some form of consolidation eventually, but I must say, I appreciate your attempts at solving nonetheless

I do not think you are Mafia

I just want you to recognize that when you come out with something like 7 Mafia suspects, recognize that it will cause more division than uniting

I'd much rather you focused on one player who isn't Ben, and stick with it instead of trying to solve the whole game knowing that at least half of your solves must be wrong

I came out with 5 and had a very clear lynch procedure and hierarchy. No distraction whatsoever. Do Ben first to allow Lolo to resolve. Readjust from there based on Ben's flip and whether Lolo croaks tomorrow.

But sure whatever.

5star's 'reveal' was on someone who had already claimed their flavor

As I said, I don't necessarily believe all of the claims

is there a reason this couldn't be a deliberate NK to set up Corrik to run the table (with a town Lolo kill tonight I guess)?

true I suppose although I am a lot more inclined to believe one "side" of the claimed power if the other turns out to be lying

but I guess I buy Corrik over Ben pretty easily

....but I think I'm willing to take the safe bet on the Ben situation even if it's wrong. Nilla Death for Scum Ben is a trade I'm more willing to take than Cop Ben for Scum Death+Pez

and if Ben is lying town I hope he bails on that claim soon >_>

Then again, we didn't see Red flip Mafia when he threatened me with physical violence so... who knows how the rules work

Actually there's been quite a lot of oofs this game

I'm giving it a reread and I have to say the Mafia performance is certainly quite good, despite the two consecutive Mafia lynches Days 1 and 2

The truth is, there isn't a whole lot of "a-ha" moments I can draw upon

The best I can do is make this more of a concerted guessing game

This was when I came into Day 2 and it caught me a bit off guard

I was on a bit of a high with the Luis lynch and I wanted to continue further

I felt somewhat invigorated and it felt as though SBell's feelings weren't mirrored

I'd like to ask, why was your motivation low after Day 1?

I've always felt that Lopen seemed to be working in concert with the Mafia, and it caught me off guard that Chris would recommend Lopen over others to work with me on leading the Town

I'd like to think Chris' read on Lopen there is not without merit

I felt it was possible that Lopen was taken for a ride by Luis

I ALSO felt Lopen's reads today have been... wreckless?

That's not necessarily a bad thing

I think Lopen is playing his heart out and is trying to solve, even if I disagree with them

This is especially true where Lopen lays down arguments against a good number of players

I'd like to say that perhaps my tinfoil got the better of me there and I just really wanted to know for certain

But if there were any certainty there, it's that Lopen is Town and I wish we could work together going forward

I felt that Lea has been prodding all over the place and has done so to Town's advantage more than not

I felt their consistent asking me of my age was out of place

Especially where I feel I've demonstrated at least a little bit of accuracy in my reads

I did think Cam looked much townier with his consistent suspicion of Luis all day. Which is a relief because I have trouble parsing a lot of his posts!

For what it's worth, Lea's play has been consistently relentless

This was a minor reprieve, but I feel that perhaps Lea doesn't keep updated notes on players which works to her disadvantage as Town

I still believe Lea is likely Town

This is either town tunneling or scum flailing for something to distract. If Red flips scum you're on my radar.

Of course, I had been pushing Red somewhat consistently since Day

In fact on Day 2 I made it clear that my read on Red was unwavering and that I would gladly vote there given the opportunity

My vote was more or less a defacto vote

I felt from Pez that this in particular was an attempt at damage control

This may be part of why end of day 3 I put the vote forth on Pez

I'm glad Benjamin agreed with me then, and I can feel it to be true in my bones

I know that Pez has played against the claim extraordinarily well, but their lack of voting feels telling to me

I believe they are at least somewhat trying to control their spew

Their flip, I believe, is inevitable

And I believe that flip is always Mafia

And Tom, well, that's more of a Day 1 thing

Suddenly I realized through my notes that the only player who was MOST associated with Luis, other than Red, was Tom

And so, it felt natural to resolve Tom

And well, as far I can say, Tom is resolved and Tom is Mafia

In summary

I'd probably say my reads look like this as a result:

Tom = Mafia
Pez = Mafia
Obellisk = Questionable

Lopen = Town
Lea = Town

I feel a natural affinity to benjamin because of his reads, but I don't trust that he is what he claims

Similarly, I don't trust that 5tar is what he claims either

And well, I don't trust that Corrik, nor Lolo are what they claim either

I feel that Death is likely to be Town, but this will all be resolved soon enough without much negative consequence

So who is left out of the limelight?

I'm not sure if this is a fair assessment, but I feel they've been notably absent from the limelight

I'm happy 5tar claimed to have scanned Ulti and Hbthebattle, but I think a large part of me just doesn't believe this

Even were 5tar faking this, I have to assume Hbthebattle is more Town between the two

And between Ulti and 5tar, well, I honestly don't know

I liked a lot of 5tar analysis and felt that they've ACTUALLY read through the game with gusto

Ulti, on the other hand, good (fake) peek

I'd like to believe 5tar is as they claim, but it's difficult to give way to it

I knew I wouldn't really have full time to dig deep into the game but I liked the host and all the players

I tried to make something happen at least with the miller claim

I initially schemed up this whole other ridiculous aspect to the fake where I was going to say my Miller role was unlynchable for day 1 only, and that if I did receive a majority of votes day 1 then I would get to choose a player to give a role upgrade to

Then I realized that had insanely high potential to cause town implosion

So I didn't do it

It sounded fun though! :D

I will be back to normal life (a.k.a. more time to spend on the game) starting in a few (real life) days

I felt perhaps, perhaps, it wasn't a gambit at all in fact, and that I would call it a gambit to let it lie

I guess I'm playing a game in my head where Mafia had a safe claim of Miller

It would be primo to capitalize on this right?

But perhaps a Cop might find it sitting right after all and accept it as part of making sense in the game

Further supposition would be that THAT Cop would have a weird flavor that would suggest flavor miller

And then a Flavor Cop claim shows up

Would twin cops make sense in a 21er setup?

Maybe?

I can see this working as a grand orchestra of cross solving

Of course, I can equally see this as a PUZZLE

And well, I'm left with not understanding how so many protections can exist without considerable counters

Backup and Redirection work, certainly

But I would expect some level of shenanigans

I'm trying to wrap my head around how it could all make sense THIS game

See, I have Tom as Mafia

So I'm wondering if his claim is actually true, that he is a lightning rod of sorts, but Mafia aligned

Perhaps for one night it has the power to nullify ALL powers? Even sacrificing their own actions?
