It's easy to say "people on the spectrum live normal lives." But that clearly isnt the case for all and he clearly is disabled enough that his parents are still his caretakers into his 30s, he cant drive a car, etc.

The posts he makes on this board are more than enough evidence that he lacks social skills and awareness.

I'm not going to pretend to know what it's like to be autistic or to raise an autistic kid. Hell my kids are difficult enough and they are perfectly healthy. My nephew is slightly autistic and he is really difficult to deal with sometimes. I imagine Duncan's parents have gone through some overwhelming times.

Academia isn't his issue. Also, there's a good chance that he got in as part of a program. Duncan's acts inappropriately, and it shouldn't just be written off or excused. That doesn't mean you should bully him. That's so shitty. There is no excuse for it. It's toxic.
