This is disappointing.

A. Tommy/Christie losing HoH sucks, because it means Michie/Holly continue steamrolling, when them losing would've spiced things up.

B. Christie losing veto sucks, because I would MUCH rather see Tommy go home, yet Christie has a huge target on her back...for some reason.

Yeah, when Jackson won that first HoH at nine, I was fine with him, because he was an underdog, and unlike some people (NICK), he wasn't gonna kiss ass with the populars that deliberately tried to ostracize him and Holly. Same deal when Nick went home. And even this past week, targeting Jessica was fine. But now it just feels like he has barely had any difficulties in the game, he's controlled a fuckton of the season, and he's more than just kind of an asshole. And it kinda sucks to see him getting his way again and again and again.

I was saying everything Christie was saying at the end there, down to the word "constant" to describe Tommy's presence. Tommy is the social threat that's going to get jury votes, so it's best to neutralize him now while one has the chance. Christie has burned bridges and it's not like she can flip anything at F5 in this situation. Cliff/Nicole and Holly/Michie are going to gun for each other regardless.

It's anybody's game right now. With Nicole having a competition win under her belt, she might actually have a case if she wins one more down the home stretch. I think Holly's still the odds-on favorite to win since nobody still in recognizes that she's almost as much of a jury threat as Michie is. The people who knew that are gone. But really... it's anyone's game, and I like a BB endgame where it's not clearly going to be one of two people like was the case last year (and those two were the Final Two).

David didn't know Holly's name, early on, and accidentally called her "Beth" for a while. The fans, hating Holly early on because Gr8ful/Unde9able/6 Shooters sucked, called her Beth as a mocking term, and it stuck.

Holly's mostly-inoffensive (although she was right there with the mean girl bullying of Nicole). Really, her alliance just sucked early in the season, when they were eliminating all the minorities. >_> She hasn't done anything to warrant scorn since the alliance broke apart though.

I never got the hate on Holly, either. While she does have her flaws (like how she needs better taste in men), she seems like a really fun, yet down-to-earth person, and she's the nicest person of everyone in Gr8ful (Tommy is the only one to come close).

I'm not saying I dislike Holly NOW. I'm just explaining why there were very justified reasons to dislike her early on. She was part of a bad alliance that bullied a genuine victim in Nicole, and she didn't really have any positives to offset that at the time. She was like Angela last season...kinda background lawn furniture until about a month and a half into the season.

i saw that as a pure game move to discredit Nicole and prevent Nick from turning on them right away. if he had believed Nicole then he might have put one of them up. though i don't watch the feeds, maybe i'm wrong about that.

Just because something is a game move doesn't mean it doesn't invite bullying. Bullying can be a very effective game move in ensuring someone else is a target ahead of you. Paul bullied people to inspire an in-group, out-group mentality that kept him insulated from attacks.

Veto winner: Nicole, who can use it to put up Holly and is STRONGLY considering doing so, but at this time her final decision is unknown

Also Holly was talking about BB13 and how badly the Regulators bombed, plus how Day 1 exits like Cameron and Glenn were still remembered despite. Yes, Holly. She's a bigger fan than I ever thought.

Veto ceremony update: Nicole went through with the plan. She used the Veto on Cliff and, by default, nominated Holly in his place... on Jackson's HOH. Shit is about to get real, but we'll see what Cliff wants to do.
